lovely rural Cotswold cottage with beautiful gardens and
wonderful views. It has two bedrooms and is very well equipped
and beautifully furnished and decorated - a perfect 'home-from-home'
for a Cotswold holiday. Children and pets welcome, but sorry
we do not accept smokers.

Peacocks
is perfectly situated for Cotswold holidays being in the very
heart of the most popular north Cotswolds, five miles equidistant
from Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.
It is ideal both for touring and for wonderful walks. The area
is rich in lovely villages, historic houses, beautiful gardens
and many other attractions. Superb pubs and restaurants abound,
together with many leisure and sporting pursuits. |

Peacocks
Cottage is a delightful self-contained annex to The Folly at
Fifield, a traditional Cotswold country house, once a farmhouse.
Set in an elevated position overlooking the Evenlode Vale, Peacocks
sits amid an acre and a quarter of beautiful, peaceful gardens.
There are wonderful far-reaching views with hardly another house
in sight. In the fields around are the owners pet llamas and
miniature Dexter cows. The
whole cottage has recently been re-decorated and furnished.
It is both very attractive and most comfortable, scrupulously
complying with all safety regulations. Cleaned and maintained by the owner
herself to ensure the highest standards, it has been awarded
4 Stars by the English Tourist Council.

Ground floor
Enter
by a small entrance hall to a very well equipped kitchen
on the left, which includes electric
cooker, microwave, fridge, automatic washing machine
/ drier, electric kettle, iron, coffee maker and china
/ cutlery etc. for eight. On the right is a bathroom
with shower, small continental bath, hand basin and
WC. Beyond the hall is a large, comfortable, very
light and bright living / dining room with windows in
three of the four walls (the forth contains books) and
colour TV, video, phone and a radio / cassette player.

First
floor - Stairs lead up from the sitting room to a
double bedroom and a twin bedroom, each with superb views.
Outside
- There is ample parking for two cars and a private
area of the garden assigned to Peacocks with a patio
and garden furniture. |

| All
heating and lighting are included in the rent, as are
all linen and towels. Well behaved pets are accepted and
children are welcome. A travel cot (though no bedding)
and a high chair and a 'z-bed' for a fifth person are
available on request. Friday changeover. |
