| When
you arrive at Rockley the first thing you experience
is the peace and the quietness - no cars, just our
babbling stream and the birds of the air, our doves
cooing and the buzzards soaring. Red deer can often
be seen grazing in the adjacent fields. This is the
place to get away from it all, leave your troubles
behind, and wind down.
Rockley
is located within Exmoor National Park, and is ideally
situated for walking, touring and visits to the beautiful
beaches of the area. We are 15 minutes drive from
the North Devon Link Road (A361).
Exmoor’s
rolling moorland is glorious throughout the year.
There are incredible views with an abundance of wild
life all around, and of course, Exmoor ponies always
roaming freely.
Guests
are more than welcome to share our grounds, with stream
and duck pond and soak up the peaceful and relaxing
atmosphere. We are in easy reach of a lovely coastline
and the wide range of North Devon's numerous attractions.
We
are not a working farm, but we do have farmyard friends.
Many of our guests love helping to feed the animals.
We offer pony rides for children. If the animals are
not for you - then rest and enjoy the tranquillity
of our hidden glade, where there is also a splendid
hide away tree house for children.
Rockley
is suituated on numerous walking routes, including
the Tarka Trail, and the West Country Way Cycle Route
(Sustrans 3) with cycles available for use during
your stay.
