	This imaginative, spacious, homely coach-house conversion is located in the grounds of a country house near historic Totnes, South Devon. It is ideally situated for a varied holiday - stunning coastline, rugged Dartmoor, beaches, rivers, pubs, sights.

The Cottage

This spacious coach-house conversion sits in the grounds of a large country house in the beautiful countryside of the South Hams near the historic town of Totnes, South Devon. Between the sailing centres of Dartmouth , Kingsbridge and Salcombe and the wilderness of Dartmoor , it is an ideal centre for holidays exploring this popular but unspoiled region of Devon, with its excellent beaches, pubs, restaurants and charming towns and villages.

The centre of the cottage is dominated by the impressive, double-height, south facing living room with its gallery, open roof beams, natural stone fireplace, bookshelves, pottery and rugs. It has both a living and a dining area. The modern fitted kitchen/breakfast room is well equipped with dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, electric hob and oven, together with a breakfast table. The utility room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, and boiler. On the other side of the living room is a ground floor double bedroom, which like the living room and kitchen, overlooks the large cobbled courtyard belonging to the cottage. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, WC and washbasin.

Upstairs the cottage has two bedrooms, one at either end of the living room gallery. One has twin beds and the other a double bed. Next door to the double bedroom is the second bathroom with bath, WC and washbasin.

Outside, across the courtyard, two archways in its stone wall lead to an enclosed, lawned garden bordered by shrubs and climbers growing against the wall. There is ample parking for two or more cars.

Things to do

Holidays relaxing in the garden, on the beach or in front of a log fire doing nothing, or wandering down to the local pub which dates from medieval times. Or if you are feeling more active, golf and Riding/Pony Trekking are available nearby.

Walking	locally, along the Dart estuary, on Dartmoor , along the coastal footpath.
