The cottage is situated in spectacular seclusion, set in five acres of delightful grounds in the heart of the Exmoor National Park. There is a stream-bordered garden - with resident ducks, and wonderful scenery. Red deer can often be seen grazing round about. We are in easy reach of the beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde, with Exmoor’s rolling countryside on the doorstep.  

The accommodation is genuinely charming, with the added interest of being an “upside down house”, with full central heating and double glazing. On the ground floor, there is a bathroom and two bedrooms - one double and the other with pine bunk beds (all bedding is supplied, and a cot and sofa bed are also available). On the first floor are the living room with 'living flame' stove and the fully fitted kitchen, with electric cooker, microwave and fridge; the use of owner’s deep freeze, washing machine and barbecue are available, should you require them. Cycles are available for use during your stay. Children welcome, but sorry, we do not accept pets.

Prawle is the southernmost Point of Devon. The cottage is one of a row of nine built around 1900 to service the look-out station at Prawle Point. It has sitting room, dining room, kitchen, upstairs bathroom and two bedrooms (one dbl, one twin). The cottages are on their own about 400 yards from the sea, with magnificent sea and coastal views. They are 1 mile from East Prawle village, just 12 miles south of Kingsbridge, the principal town of the South Hams. Children, pets and smokers welcome.

Haddon House is situated 2 miles from Axminster on the edge of its own woods in an elevated position above the Axe Valley, with stunning river and rural views to the sea at Axmouth. It offers direct access to woodland walks in Shute Woods and beyond, as well as being convenient for the Heritage coast at Lyme Regis, with Seaton, Beer and Branscome only a short drive away. The area is wonderfully peaceful with few other houses around. The nearest village is Kilmington which has a shop, a post office and two pubs, all within 1.5 miles walk. 

Adjacent to the main house, with its own entrance and garden area, The Coach House was rebuilt in 2002 on the footprint of the original building. Because we believe that a holiday home should be as welcoming as your own, it has been completed to the highest standard, with exposed oak beams, woodburning stove, widescreen TV and good quality sound system. The accommodation consists of a large sitting room with exposed oak beams, woodburning stove, comfortable sofas and dining area. One of the sofas can be used as an additional bed if required. The generously proportioned bedroom, also with oak beams, is furnished with a king size bed (this can also be arranged as a twin room). The Shaker style kitchen is fully fitted and includes fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher, with a good range of cupboards. The bathroom has a bath and power shower.

This idyllic 16th Century thatched cottage (the middle of three) is situated in the picturesque village of 'Week', Dartington, near Totnes. Dartington has its own village general store and post office and a very pretty thatched pub 'The Cott Inn' that serves excellent quality meals and has an outside table area. The Dartington Cider Press Centre offers all sorts of unusual shopping possibilities including cafe's and a delicatessen. All these are within walking distance of the cottage.

Post Box was totally renovated by us in 1999 and whilst the character of the cottage remains absolutely unspoilt you will find everything is clean and comfortable to a very high standard, with full gas central heating. The ground floor accommodation comprises living / dining room with large stone fireplace, wood burning stove and old oak beams, separate well equipped kitchen with stable door to garden, and a bathroom with shower attachment and WC. Upstairs is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with views over the hillside. To the rear the secluded private garden has a summer-house with garden furniture and BBQ.

The cottage is about an 8 minute drive away from our other cottages and leisure facilities at Knowle Farm, which guests at Post Box have full use of. These include a heated outdoor pool, indoor soft play area, tennis court, pool table, table tennis, enclosed outdoor play area with sandpit, playhouse and toys, and a wooden climbing frame with swings.

Right in the heart of the quaint old fishing village of Appledore, only 10 yards from the water with stunning views, this Grade II listed former inn has been converted into two luxury apartments, both of which are centrally heated and contain high quality fitted carpets, curtains and furniture.

West Apartment, on the first and second floors, has two bedrooms, one twin with beautiful views over the water, and one family bedroom at the rear with double and single beds. The well fitted dining kitchen has views over the water and is fully equipped including dishwasher and washer/dryer. The spacious bathroom has a large dignified suite and recently fitted shower cubicle. A second staircase gives access to a beautiful lounge with quite superb views of the sea and old Appledore.

Braeside Mews is set in an enviable position less than 300 yards from Goodrington Beach and Park. Dartmouth and the fishing town of Brixham are all close by, and Torquay, with it's pavement cafes and nightlife, is just 3 miles away. Goodrington Sands has Britain's biggest Water Park - 'Quay West', and other places of interest include Cockington Country Park, Babbacombe Model Village, Paignton Zoo and Kingswear Steam Railway.

The accommodation is arranged over three floors, with a balcony on the first floor enjoying wonderful views of the Park and sea. On the ground floor is an entrance hall, cloakroom and open plan kitchen dining room with quarry tiled floor, equipped with built-in gas hob and electric oven, washing machine, fridge, toaster etc. There is also a colour TV in the dining area. Entrance is through the Conservatory, which was re-fitted in 2002, and allows visitors to enjoy the sun from midday through to the last rays in the evening. The holiday cottages are to the rear of the farmhouse: Shippen (sleeps 4), Battens (sleeps 6) and Linney (sleeps 4).
