Little Meadows holiday cottage in Dorset is a spacious grade II listed luxuriously refurbished and appointed thatched property set in 1/3 acres of secluded grounds on the Isle of Purbeck, four miles away from the dramatic Dorset coastline of Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. The house comfortably accommodates 6-8 people.

The Cottage
Apart from being a private second home used by the owners the property has newly become available for lettings since 2002 both on a weekly basis and for weekend breaks.  
 
Little Meadows is luxuriously appointed, with slate flooring and oriental rugs downstairs, hall and living room with fireplaces and exposed beams throughout the building.  The house is centrally heated and has mains gas, water, electricity, sewage and a telephone. All energy costs are included in the rent.

Downstairs comprises:

  • Hall with restored Victorian mahogany furniture;
  • Sitting room with sofabed, TV, video, CD and satellite receiver.  
  • Fully equipped farmhouse pine kitchen with utility room, gas operated AGA oven and polished Purbeck marble and beech worktops.  All kitchenware and tableware are of the highest quality.
  • Bathroom 1 with power shower.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms (1 double, 2 twins), with fitted carpets and halogen lighting, plus a second bathroom with power shower.  
 
Outside, there are secluded grounds of 1/3 acre, a paved courtyard offering space for 3-4 cars and a double garage.
