La Ferme (sleeps 9 to 10).

The centre piece of La Couronne, La Ferme is a five bedroom traditional farmhouse house spread over three floors. The second floor consists of a double room, twin room and shower room with shower, basin and wc. The first floor has a double room, twin room and single room. There is also a bathroom with bath, shower and double basin and separate wc on this floor. The ground floor consists of a large farmhouse kitchen, lounge/dining area and separate utility room. The house has two outdoor areas, a private garden area and an open terrace at the front of the house, both with patio furniture.

L'Atelier (sleeps 6).

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a family room with a double and 2 single beds, and a separate twin room. There is also a shower room with shower, basin and wc on this floor. The ground floor consists of a large lounge/dining area and a separate kitchen. The back door leads out onto a large private walled terrace with patio furniture.

La Grange (sleeps 4).

Upstairs there is a double room with a pool view, twin room and shower room with shower, basin and wc. Downstairs is a lounge/dining/kitchen area with a back door leading into a small private deck area with patio furniture.

L'Etable (Sleeps 2).

This charming, spacious one bedroom gite has a double ensuite bedroom on the first floor and a large lounge/dining/kitchen area on the ground floor. The front door leads out on to a private terrace with patio furniture, overlooking the swimming pool.

Outside

The swimming pool (heated during May and October) is surrounded by a pretty walled garden with a large stone barbecue and terraced area for those late evening cookouts. The summer weather in the Charente, an area renowned for endless hours of sunshine, will ensure that you find plenty of time to relax and soak up some rays.

La Couronne is located in the heart of the small rural village of Fouqueure and is an ideal base from which to explore the Cognac region. Situated 8 km from the N10, between Poiters and Angouleme, the nearest towns are: Aigre (2 km), Mansle (8km), Rouillac (15km) Ruffec (23km) and Cognac (35km).
