Tastefully refurbished gite in quiet rural hamlet, with outdoor pool, sleeps 4 + cot.
Fuchsia Cottage is in a quiet rural hamlet situated only minutes away from the two towns of Plouguenast and Ploeuc sur Lie, each with a variety of shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes from the medieval town of Moncontour. Within half and hour there is the coastal town of St. Brieuc which has both a traditional town centre and a large retail shopping complex, including Carrefour.
The ground floor comprises an open plan living room with television, dining area and a well equipped kitchen area. There is also a ground floor bathroom with a bath, shower, basin and W.C. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Outside, there is a 10m x 5m outdoor swimming pool and a private sitting area with patio table and chairs and a barbeque. We also have a games barn which has a table tennis table, dart board, baby football table and a full size snooker table. LA PETITE MAISON, LA FONTAINE ROUILLEE GITES, Plessala, Cotes-d'Armor, Brittany
Charmingly restored character gîte in a tranquil setting with magnificent views over the nearby forest, providing accommodation for four people.
La Petite Maison is one of two sympathetically renovated gîtes set in two acres of grounds, along with the English owner's home, 3km from the small town of Plessala. The area is rich in history, whilst the forest and River Lié are ideally placed for rambling, cycling, bird-watching, fishing or sketching. There are plenty of good places to eat locally and several interesting markets for traditional shopping along with easy access to a choice of larger shopping centres, sporting facilities and tourist attractions.
The traditional Breton cottage has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, with shutters – ideal for long lie-ins. There is a large well equipped kitchen-diner and separate sitting room with wood burner, TV and DVD and original chestnut flooring. A roomy shower room completes the accommodation, which is on one level, approached via a short flight of steps through its' sunny, private garden with barbecue. A separate on site laundry and storage room is provided for guests' use.
La Petite Maison sleeps up to four people, but for larger groups, can be booked in conjunction with our other gîte, La Longere (sleeps 6), on the same site, to accommodate up to ten people - guests booking both properties receive a discount off individual cottage prices.

WALNUT COTTAGE & JASMINE COTTAGE, LA COUR, Paimbu, nr Masserac, Southern Brittany / Loire Atlantique

The village has a French cafe (bar) and grocery shop, as well as a friendly local boulangerie to buy your fresh bread and croissants for breakfast! Another 10 minutes away is the lively town of Guemene-Penfao where you will find a supermarket, indoor swimming pool, canoe hire for paddling along the River Don and pony trekking. Fishing enthusiasts can take advantage of the private fishing lake just 5 minutes away from the cottages.
The two cottages have been carefully restored to provide comfortable accommodation for 4 and 5 people in two bedrooms. Walnut Cottage has a double bedroom, twin bedroom, bath and shower, while Jasmine Cottage has a double bedroom, a bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a single bed, and a shower room. LE GRENIER GÎTE, LA VILLE JOSSE, Plessala, Cotes-d’Armor, Brittany
Recently refurbished traditional Breton cottage set in half an acre, in a tranquil setting 2km from the small town of Plessala. Sleeps 6.
Providing accommodation for up to six people, this charming character cottage has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Situated in a tranquil setting it has beautiful views over the valley and nearby forest. Set in half an acre garden with spacious patio, gas barbeque and ample space to park, it is located 2km from the small town of Plessala.
The traditional Breton cottage, which is on one level, except for a step down from the living room into the kitchen, is ideal for families. (There is a cot and high chair available). The accommodation has three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one for children fitted with bunk beds. There is a well equipped kitchen-diner with a washing machine and an open plan sitting/dining room. A bathroom with bath and shower completes the accommodation. There is a wood burning stove in the living area and electric heaters are installed in all rooms.

The ancient stone longere has three bedrooms, one spacious twin and two doubles including a ground floor bedroom with adjacent shower room and doors to the rear terrace, providing an ideal room for guests wishing to avoid stairs. There is an open plan kitchen and a separate dual aspect living room, with wood burner, TV and DVD, which opens onto the terrace and barbecue area. Both upstairs bedrooms off the galleried landing have ensuite shower rooms. A separate on site laundry and storage room is provided for guests' use.

LAUREL COTTAGE, Plouguenast, near Moncontour, Brittany
Tastefully refurbished gite in quiet hamlet with outdoor pool, sleeps 6 + cot.
Situated in a quiet rural hamlet within beautiful Northern Brittany, the gite is only minutes away from the two towns of Plouguenast and Ploeuc sur Lie, each with a variety of shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes from the medieval town of Moncontour. The ferry ports of St Malo (1 hr), Roscoff (90 mins) and Caen are within easy reach, as is the airport at Dinard, 40 minutes away, served by Ryanair. The gite has been tastefully refurbished, and has three bedrooms to sleep up to six people plus a cot. The ground floor consists of a large open-plan living room, fitted kitchen area, dining space and separate comfortable sitting area with satellite television. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (1 dbl, 1 twin) and a bathroom with bath, shower, basin and wc. On the second floor there is a large twin bedroom and a second washroom comprising of a basin and wc. Outside, there is a 10m x 5m outdoor swimming pool and a private sitting area with patio table and chairs and a barbeque. We also have a games barn which has a table tennis table, dart board, baby football table and a full size snooker table.

LE CAMUS, Plémet, Cotes-d'Armor, Brittany
Two carefully renovated, comfortable and well equipped gites, situated in a rural setting in grounds overlooking ancient moorland and forest. Sleep 4 & 6+cot.
Le Camus is a truly tranquil location, ideal for barbecues, relaxing with a book and a drink, watching the bird life, sketching the scenery, strolling or fishing beside the nearby river.
The gîtes at Le Camus have been carefully renovated to create comfortable and well equipped homes that are suitable for year round use. We have tried to ensure they are places we would chose to stay in ourselves, and we personally maintain them.
Le Petit Camus (sleeps 4) has been completely renovated to a high standard in 2008, and now provides an extremely comfortable holiday retreat, while retaining its original charm. Oak beams, a-frames and ceiling boards have been restored; a traditional log burner provides a focal point whilst modern electric heaters and ample insulation ensure the property is comfortable year round. Le Petit Camus has two bedrooms - one King sized double, and one with twin beds, which can be joined together to form a Super King.
Le Grand Camus (sleeps 6) is a typical Breton granite longere, offering extremely well appointed and flexible accommodation for up to six, plus baby. It has a luxuriously appointed and well-equipped kitchen, bright and airy open plan living / dining room with table to seat 8, comfy sofas, a wood burning stove and TV/DVD. There is one bedroom downstairs (twin / King sized double), with showerroom / wc adjacent. Upstairs are two further ensuite bedrooms - one with Super King sized 4 poster bed, exposed oak beams and chandeliers, the other with twin beds that can be reconfigured as a super king sized bed if desired.

LES PEUPLIERS, Nr. Josselin, Morbihan, Brittany
Spacious 3 bed traditional stone detached cottage. Sleeps 9 plus cot.
Les Peupliers is situated in Morbihan, the southernmost departement of Brittany. The cottage is close to Josselin, famous for its fairytale chateau overlooking the river. There are many secluded sandy beaches within easy reach. The area is ideal for cycling and we have a stock of 8 bikes which are available for use. There are a number of excellent golf courses in the vicinity.
The cottage has a large living room with a mezzanine bedroom above. There is a good sized, well appointed, kitchen and a large dining area with dining table to seat 8. Above the kitchen and dining room area are two further good sized bedrooms. Altogether there are three double beds, four single beds and a cot. There is also a high chair, baby buggy/ pushchair, baby monitor, bottle sterlizer, and baby bath & changing mat. In the basement there is a half size snooker/ pool table and a dartboard. In the living room we have a selection of toys and also some children's books and board games. For adults we have a library of over 200 hard back and paperback books. There is also a Sky TV and DVD/VCR. The inventory includes a dishwasher and combined washing machine/ dryer. There is a large bathroom with bath, bidet, wash hand basin and separate shower cubicle. There are two separate toilets on different floors, the upstairs one with wash hand basin. Outside there is a large patio with BBQ. The garden extends to half an acre mostly laid to grass.

THE HOLIDAY FARMHOUSE, Perret, nr Lac de Guerlédan, Central Brittany
Refurbished 17C farmhouse retaining much French rural character, particularly suitable for large families or groups interested in golf, walking, cycling, fishing or water skiing. Sleeps 12.
This traditional farmhouse, sleeping up to 12, is situated in the quiet village of Perret near the forest of Quénécan, with the Nantes–Brest Canal and the Lac de Guerlédan nearby where you can enjoy many relaxing activities. The property is one of the largest in the village and parts of it appear to date from the 17th century. It has considerable history and the last farmer occupant now lives nearby and enjoys telling how his large family occupied what is now the lounge and dining area and the rest was for cows, chickens and grain storage. The property has now been refurbished and furnished to a comfortable and modern standard but still maintains much of its French rural character.
With full central heating and wood burner, the house is available to rent all year round, and is particularly suitable for large families or groups of people who are interested in golf, walking, cycling, fishing or water skiing, being situated close to Lac de Guerlédan. You enter via the large high roofed entrance / sitting area, which leads on to the open plan living / dining / kitchen area, which includes a spacious 20ft lounge area with woodburning stove & Satellite TV, large well-equipped kitchen / dining area and further galleried sitting area. There are four bedrooms (1 Dbl with en suite, 1 Double bedroom with additional bunk bed, 1 Large twin and 1 Bedroom with two sets of bunk beds) and 2 additional bathrooms.
