La Belle Maison is a character Breton gite approached via a short flight of steps through its own enclosed south-west facing mature garden with barbecue and private outdoor dining terrace.
This pretty holiday cottage provides well equipped single storey accommodation that is suitable for year-round use.
The central hallway opens on the right into a spacious dual aspect kitchen-dining room, fully fitted for self-catering vacation rentals.
The separate sitting room opposite has a very comfy suite, wood burner, TV, DVD player and original chestnut flooring.
Further down the hall there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both have far reaching rural views, plenty of storage space and shutters which ideal for long lie-ins; a travel cot will fit in either room. A large modern shower room completes the single storey accommodation.
The garden is bordered by flowering shrubs, cherry and oak trees. Wonderful views of the sun setting over the forest can be enjoyed here in the evening, and it is the perfect place to relax with a glass of the local cider and stargaze.
Gite guests can store cycles, fishing tackle, golf clubs etc in the lockable cellar below the cottage.

FUCHSIA COTTAGE, Plouguenast, near Moncontour, Brittany
Tastefully refurbished gite in quiet rural hamlet, with outdoor pool, sleeps 4 + cot.
Fuchsia Cottage is in a quiet rural hamlet situated only minutes away from the two towns of Plouguenast and Ploeuc sur Lie, each with a variety of shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes from the medieval town of Moncontour. Within half and hour there is the coastal town of St. Brieuc which has both a traditional town centre and a large retail shopping complex, including Carrefour.
The ground floor comprises an open plan living room with television, dining area and a well equipped kitchen area. There is also a ground floor Shower room with walk in thermostatically controlled shower, vanity unit with wash basin and toilet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Outside, there is a 10m x 5m outdoor swimming pool and a private sitting area with patio table and chairs and a barbeque. We also have a games barn which has a table tennis table, pool table, baby football table and a full size snooker table. Two carefully restored cottages in quiet hamlet surrounded by beautiful countryside, well situated for beaches & attractions of Loire Atlantique & Southern Brittany. Sleep 4 & 5.
On the border of Southern Brittany and the Loire Atlantique, La Cour is located in the quiet hamlet of Paimbu, just 1 Km from the village of Masserac, which is well situated for reaching the many beaches and attractions of the Loire Atlantique & Southern Brittany. The village has a French cafe (bar) and grocery shop, as well as a friendly local boulangerie to buy your fresh bread and croissants for breakfast! Another 10 minutes away is the lively town of Guemene-Penfao where you will find a supermarket, indoor swimming pool, canoe hire for paddling along the River Don and pony trekking. Fishing enthusiasts can take advantage of the private fishing lake just 5 minutes away from the cottages.
The two cottages have been carefully restored to provide comfortable accommodation for 4 and 5 people in two bedrooms. Walnut Cottage has a double bedroom, twin bedroom, bath and shower, while Jasmine Cottage has a double bedroom, a bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a single bed, and a shower room. Both cottages have open plan living / dining areas, including fully equipped kitchens with full size cooker, fridge freezer and microwave; the Laundry Room offers free to use facilities including washing machine, irons, ironing boards & free broadband (ADSL) wired internet access. LE GRENIER GITE, LA VILLE JOSSE, Plessala, Cotes-d'Armor, Brittany
Recently refurbished traditional Breton cottage set in half acre garden in a tranquil setting 3km from the small market town of Plessala. Sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 children.
This character Breton barn conversion, located just 3km from the small market town of Plessala, has been refitted to provide holiday rental accommodation ideal for families of up to six, or two couples sharing a holiday.
Situated in spacious grounds with far reaching rural views over the valley and nearby forest, this traditional gite is on one level, with one step down from the living room into the well equipped kitchen-diner which has a gas cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. The light, airy, open plan sitting/dining room has TV with British free-to-air channels, DVD player and wood burner (with child guard). French doors open onto a sun trap patio area with gas barbecue and garden furniture.
The accommodation is very comfortable for parties of 4, with two good sized bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a bathroom with full size bath and shower over, vanity unit, and WC. However, larger families can also be accommodated as there is also a box room furnished with bunk beds and a child's wardrobe; a small supplement applies to cover additional bed linen if required.
The plot is safe for children and pets, most of the half acre garden being grassed with hedged surrounds, and there is plenty of parking directly alongside the house. The sheltered terrace is at the rear of the house and is accessed directly from the sitting room. A travel cot (please bring your own linen) and highchair are available on request.
Le Grenier is an hours drive from St Malo port or Dinard airport and within easy distance of the other western channel ports. Guests are offered use of the owner's Brittany Ferries discount

La Vieille Longere is a charmingly updated ancient stone longhouse packed with character. It combines original features with well fitted holiday rental accommodation that is ideal for couples, adult groups or older families (age guide 11+).
The galley kitchen is comprehensively equipped for self-catering, and the separate dual aspect living room has comfy sofas, dining suite, TV and wood burner. French doors open onto a large terrace with BBQ area and paddock beyond - the views from here are wonderful. Watch the bird life (including green and spotted woodpeckers, common and honey buzzards, kestrels, wood pigeons), or sketch the scenery. It is an ideal place to relax with a glass and watch the sun go down over the forest then star gaze at clear skies.
There is a light and airy ground floor double bedroom that has lots of storage space, french doors to the rear and an adjacent modern shower room. This suite is available with the living accommodation as a couples only apartment.
For larger parties there are two more good sized bedrooms on the first floor. One is a twin, the other a double, both have wardrobes, chests of drawers, mirrors, chairs and an ensuite shower room (this floor is closed during couples only bookings).
The gite is set in spacious grounds alongside the English owner's home in France :- we are more than happy to help guests make the most of their holiday by providing suggestions for places to eat, things to do and attractions to visit, whilst respecting our visitors private space and ensuring we do not impose on their enjoyment of the property.

Situated in a quiet rural hamlet within beautiful Northern Brittany, the gite is only minutes away from the two towns of Plouguenast and Ploeuc sur Lie, each with a variety of shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes from the medieval town of Moncontour. The ferry ports of St Malo (1 hr), Roscoff (90 mins) and Caen are within easy reach, as is the airport at Dinard, 40 minutes away, served by Ryanair. The gite has been tastefully refurbished, and has three bedrooms to sleep up to six people plus a cot. The ground floor consists of a large open-plan living room, fitted kitchen area, dining space and separate comfortable sitting area with satellite television. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (1 dbl, 1 twin) and a Shower room with walk in thermostatically controlled shower, wash basin and toilet. On the second floor there is a large twin bedroom and a second washroom comprising of a basin and wc. Outside, there is a 10m x 5m outdoor swimming pool and a private sitting area with patio table and chairs and a barbeque. LES PEUPLIERS, Nr. Josselin, Morbihan, Brittany
Spacious 3 bed traditional stone detached cottage, within easy reach of beaches and several excellent golf courses. Sleeps 9 plus cot.
Les Peupliers is situated in Morbihan, the southernmost departement of Brittany. The cottage is close to Josselin, famous for its fairytale chateau overlooking the river. There are many secluded sandy beaches within easy reach. The area is ideal for cycling and we have a stock of 8 bikes which are available for use. There are a number of excellent golf courses in the vicinity.
The cottage has a large living room with a mezzanine bedroom above. There is a good sized, well appointed, kitchen and a large dining area with dining table to seat 8. Above the kitchen and dining room area are two further good sized bedrooms. Altogether there are three double beds, four single beds and a cot. There is also a high chair, baby buggy/ pushchair, baby monitor, bottle sterlizer, and baby bath & changing mat. In the basement there is a half size snooker/ pool table and a dartboard. In the living room we have a selection of toys and also some children's books and board games. For adults we have a library of over 200 hard back and paperback books. There is also Satellite TV and DVD/VCR. The inventory includes a dishwasher and combined washing machine/ dryer. There is a large bathroom with bath, bidet, wash hand basin and separate shower cubicle. There are two separate toilets on different floors, the upstairs one with wash hand basin. Outside there is a large patio with BBQ. The garden extends to half an acre mostly laid to grass.

Le Camus is a typical granite longhouse, offering extremely well appointed holiday rentals in a truly tranquil setting. This location is ideal for barbecues, watching the bird life, sketching the scenery, strolling, cycling or fishing beside the nearby river. A village with excellent auberge is less than 3km, or the town of Plemet, with shops, restaurants and lake is 5 minutes drive.
Le Petit Camus (sleeps 4) is an extremely comfortable holiday retreat, retaining its original charm: oak beams have been restored throughout. The ground floor has a L-shape open plan living room and kitchen, plus separate utility room. Upstairs are two ensuite bedrooms - one King sized double, and one with twin beds that can be joined to form a Super King.
Outside the raised patio has far reaching views, a barbeque and garden furniture.
Le Grand Camus (sleeps 6) is luxuriously appointed with a spacious, light open plan living room, large kitchen. There is one bedroom downstairs (twin / King double), with shower room opposite. Upstairs are two further ensuite bedrooms - one with Super King 4 poster bed, exposed oak beams and chandeliers, the other has twin beds that can be reconfigured as a King double if desired.
Outside there is a large deck with barbecue and teak outdoor furniture.
The two separate gites have their own private facilities and garden areas. Both have well equipped kitchens, comfy sofas, extendable dining tables, TV/DVDs and traditional log burners. Modern wiring and plumbing, panel heaters and ample insulation ensure guests' comfort throughout the year. Groups of 10 can rent both houses (just add the prices together) with the dividing hall between them unlocked if requested. An large apple orchard / paddock beyond the gardens is shared by both holiday homes.
