This
pretty gite is on a small (not active) farm, at the end of a tarmac drive,
surrounded by many hectares of farmland. It is the perfect place for a
peaceful and quiet holiday, away from passing traffic but only a short drive
away from forests, leisure park with man-made lakes for swimming and
watersports, castles and museums. The nearby town of Goron has several
shops, a supermarket, an open-air swimming pool (summer), bars and cinema.
Nearby there are many river and park walks, horse riding and fishing
posibilities.
All
arranged on the one level, the accommodation comprises spacious open plan
kitchen / dining room / lounge, with doors leading off to the two bedrooms
(1 double, 1 twin), shower room and toilet. The kitchen is fully
equipped with hob, cooker etc, and includes a woodburner which heats the
whole cottage in the winter months. Outside there is a balcony with
beautiful views and a garden with barbecue and garden furniture for your
use.

This converted traditional Poitou
Charentes Farmhouse with large swimming pool in the Deux Sevres countryside
is ideal for families with young children, and is available to let as a
whole or as two individual gites. The rural farmhouse has been
sympathetically renovated to maintain much of its' original character.
Outside, both gites share the large
(10m x 5m) plunge pool and private garden with barbecue, garden furniture
etc.
La Fermette is the smaller gite,
with one twin bedroom and one family bedroom with a double bed and two
singles. It has a bright, comfortable living room with modern well
equipped corner kitchen, double sofa bed, armchairs, TV, video and large
farmhouse kitchen table to seat 8+ persons. The shower room has large
shower area, basin and wc.
Le Grenier is the larger gite,
with spacious double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and a room with twin bunk
beds suitable for adults. It
has a bright, comfortable living room with modern well equipped corner
kitchen, double sofa bed, armchairs, TV, video and large farmhouse kitchen
table to seat 8+ persons. There is a large shower / toilet room and
separate wc.
