In the heart of the beautiful Lake District National Park this delightful 200 year old traditional stone terraced cottage is situated in the little hamlet of Edinboro on the edge of Ambleside.  The small, friendly market town of Ambleside, nestled amidst the fells of Fairfield, Loughrigg and Wansfell, at the head of Lake Windermere - is only 5 minutes walk from the cottage.  

Much loved by its owner, Birch Cottage provides a real 'home from home' - an ideal place to relax after a long day out. Laid out on three storeys, it is comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated & well-equipped throughout. Cosy even in winter, it has full gas central heating.  Beds are full size pine with firm mattresses & duvets. Electricity & gas are included in the price. Please note that the cottage is strictly non-smoking, and we're sorry, but we do not accept pets.

Ground Floor

• Cosy Lounge with living flame gas fire, colour TV with basic Sky package, extensive information folder, books and games.
• Kitchen / diner: all utensils, full size gas cooker, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, kettle, iron.

First Floor

• Roomy bathroom has shaver point, bath & separate walk-in power shower.
• Cosy twin bedroom with window seat for enjoying the views, hairdryer, radio cassette player.

Top Floor

• Spacious and charming beamed double bedroom with window seat and separate relaxation area with views. Radio alarm clock, hairdryer.

Outside, there is an Enclosed garden with seating and lovely views to Wansfell. Parking for one car.
