Built in 1794 as the mill owners house, it is furnished in comfortable country style, with oak beams and open hearths throughout. It is equipped to a comfortable country standard with full gas central heating and fitted carpets. Outside, as well as barbecue areas, there are extensive terraces and patios bordering the stream. Fawcett Mill is an idyllic gathering place for a large family or group of friends. It is perfect for reunions, get togethers, Christmas/New Year/Easter celebrations, Weekend Breaks or a relaxing break away from it all. Summer or winter the environment and scenery is stunning.

A double futon and double settee bed in the upper lounge (+cots) enable up to 20 people to be accommodated. The spacious dining / living room with Victorian range has dining tables seating 16 people, and the two fully equipped kitchens include dishwasher, washing machine, drier, microwave, hob, oven, fridge, freezer and a gas-fired Rayburn cooker. Also on the ground floor is a 3-person sauna.  

The property is situated in the Eden Valley, just 2 miles from junction 38 of the M6, in a quiet valley in its own meadowland, alongside a stream & close to a waterfall, and situated mid way between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks
