This self catering cottage is situated in a very sunny position near the bridge with lovely views over the River Dee, just a two minute walk from the heart of the town of Llangollen in North Wales. Lavender House was built in 1829 and completely renovated in 2005, yet retaining the original character of this old property.

Cottage Accommodation

The holiday cottage is available on a self-catering accommodation basis, for a maximum of up to 8 people.

In detail, the cottage accommodation comprises:

Basement Floor - A large room with character containing two single beds.

Ground Floor - A well appointed fitted kitchen, including washing machine and dishwasher, a dining room with Welsh dresser and large comfortable sitting room with an open fire. TV with DVD, radio, video player and CD player. There is also a shower room.

First Floor - Three double bedrooms, two with excellent views over the River Dee and a large Victorian style bathroom.

Outside the cottage, there is sufficient parking for two cars and steps leading up to an attractive garden with views over the whole of Llangollen. All the rooms in the cottage are light and airy whilst maintaining the character of this old property.

Llangollen, North Wales

Llangollen is a pretty Victorian market town in North Wales / North East Wales on the beautiful River Dee. It is set among the hills with panoramic views from the famous Horse Shoe Pass. It is renowned for its lovely walks, (it is a good touring base for Snowdonia), for its castle and abbey ruins, National Trust Properties, steam railway, canal boats and international festivals including the Eisteddfod.

Llangollen is also perfect for a wide variety of sports, visiting good pubs and award winning restaurants or simply wandering around the town with its plentiful supply of unusual gift shops.
