Farm, Brushfield lies on a sunny south-facing hillside high above
Taddington Dale - a deep-cut limestone dale along which winds the
A6 road. This is one of the best rural locations in Derbyshire.
Approached along a quiet country lane and surrounded by fields and
woodland, Middle Farm is hidden deep in the countryside, yet it is
only a short distance from the main A6 road between Bakewell and Buxton.

two cottages are adjacent to the owner's farmhouse and are within
easy reach of many local attractions. Bakewell is 7 miles, Buxton
7 miles, Chatsworth 6 miles, Matlock 12 miles, Hope Valley 12
miles and the village
of Taddington 1 mile from the farm. |

| The
area around Brushfield has been farmed since Neolithic times
and the farm lies close to some of the finest scenery and walking
country in the Peak District. Monsal Dale is literally just
around the corner and Miller's Dale is only a short walk away.
It is ideal for those wishing to explore the rich diversity
of life and landscape within the Peak District. There are many
beautiful walks from the doorstep and Brushfield is an ideal
base for those wishing to enjoy an activity holiday with nearby
facilities/locations for rock climbing, caving, horse riding,
gliding, fishing and mountain biking. |

Cottage |
| Albertine
Cottage is a two storey barn conversion providing an elevated
position with stunning views across the valley. The cottage
is newly decorated and beautifully furnished, with extensive
use of pine beams throughout, including exposed trusses in upstairs
bedrooms. The
cottage has a large cart entrance with glazed doorway, flagstone
entrance hallway and an attractive upstairs / balcony.
There is a spacious lounge with picture views over across
the valley. |

| The
kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances including
hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There are shared
laundrette and freezer facilities. The dining area looks
out across the former farmyard with a view down the valley.

There
are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms - one of which is
on the ground floor. There are two bathrooms upstairs and a
separate shower/toilet on ground floor level . |

| There
are garden and courtyard areas next to the cottage. Access
is available to the owner's woodland and fields by arrangement.
Ample
secure parking is available. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
The
cottage has full central heating and double glazing.
Our
second cottage on the farm, Maigold Cottage,
sleeps 4 people, and is therefore suitable for smaller groups,
or can be rented together with Albertine Cottage to provide
