This independent villa with its own private pool has more than 700 years of history, but was totally renovated in May 2007, to provide high quality accommodation for between 2 to 6 people. It is situated in the village of Mata, only at 2 km. from Banyoles lake, 15 km. from Girona city, 25 km. from Girona Airport, 35 km. from the Costa Brava beaches and 115 km. from Barcelona. In the heart of the Pla de l'Estany, this is a privileged place, situated as it is, between the sea and the mountains. La Cabanya has 2 bedrooms, each with private bathroom and allergy-free mattresses, a fully equipped kitchen, an attic, a living room with Satellite television, DVD with Home cinema and fireplace, free wifi area inside the house, air-conditioning and central heating. Outside, the private garden has barbecue and private swimming pool with saline treatment and totally automated. This beautifully converted "Mas" (Catalan Style Farmhouse) is located within the Empuries Achaeological Zone and the Natural Park of Aiguamolls de l'Emporda. It is an original building dating from the late Roman period, rebuilt in Medieval times and completed in the 18th Century. Located 3km from the centre of L'Escala and the coast, it is just 15-20 minutes on foot from the Greek Port Beach of Empuries, where the Olympic Flame arrived in 1992. The property has been converted into 3 characterful apartments sleeping from 2 to 8 people. El Galliner has one bedroom and a mezzanine with two children's beds, to sleep 2 adults or a family with 2 children; La Cort has two bedrooms to accommodate 4 people; Cal Masover has 4 bedrooms, suitable for up to 8 people. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen including washing machine, two-door fridge, gas cooker, electric oven, microwave oven, coffee maker etc. The apartments are fully equipped with TV and Satellite dish, a small CD player and radio. Outside, at the front of the house, there is a stunning 600-m2 terrace and 10x5m outdoor swimming pool.

Sitting on the side of a hill / small mountain in the Baix Penedes region, the house is located about 12 minutes from El Vendrell - a real Spanish small town, approximately 45 minutes from Barcelona airport by car and 1hour 15 minutes (approx) from Barcelona by train. As well as enjoying the beautiful scenery all around, there are plenty of other activities around El Vendrell, including Karting club Vendrell, the Centre de Golf, Aquapark and Rock climbing, as well as Port Aventura 35 km away. There's a bar on the urbanization with a pool table and table-football but this is not quite within walking distance unless you're feeling fit and energetic. The house can sleep ten people, in five bedrooms - 2 doubles and 3 twins. It has an open plan kitchen / lounge, with a balcony leading off the kitchen area, and two bathrooms. The house is equipped with TV, DVD, washing machine (in a separate out house), iron, ironing board, microwave, toaster, kettle, large fridge freezer, electric oven with gas hobs, wood burner, and pedestal fans in each bedroom. Outside, there is a garden with many terraces in and out of the sun, with table and chairs, sun loungers, barbeque and swimming pool.

17th Century Casa Rural in beautiful hamlet, tastefully converted and retaining many original features. Sleeps 14.

Cal Valls was built towards the end of the 17th century in Vilagrassa, a beautiful hamlet with 350 inhabitants, near Tarrega. Fields and crops dominate the landscape to the pre-Pyrenees, which provides excellent conditions for a variety of sports and outdoor activities, such as hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, angling, canoeing and river crafting. Furthermore, the central location in Catalonia makes every corner accessible for one-day excursions - from the Dali-museum in the north, the Costa Brava coastline and Barcelona in the west and further south Tarragon with its amphitheatre and Port-Adventure Universal Studios amusement park for the kids. The property was carefully converted in 2006, so that all the original period features were delicately preserved, keeping traditional style and materials such as stone walls, wooden beams and open fires. The floor area is around 300 m 2, where you can find an American style kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, electric cooker, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, espresso coffee maker, meat grill and micro-wave; next to the kitchen there is a large dining room overlooking to the garden. There are five bedrooms, all of which overlook the 13th century Santa Maria Church, and three bathrooms - one on the lower floor and two on the upper floors. The outside area is about 150 m 2 with a garden with lawn and a terrace, with private swimming pool, large barbecue with free lumber, table tennis and ping-pong bats, five bicycles, skateboards, hammock, darts and a petanque set.

The house is situated 2 km. from Banyoles lake, only 35 km. from the beach (Costa Brava), 25 km. from the International Airport of Girona-Costa Brava and 115 km. from Barcelona city. It is located in a privileged place since it lays between the sea and the mountains. The whole villa has got one independent apartment for 10 to 20 people, with 8 bedrooms (one with handicapped access), 6 bathrooms, kitchen, dining-room, living-room with Satellite TV (international channels) and DVD, a reading room, a fireplace, a games room... as well as a barbecue in the garden with a covered porch and a private swimming-pool with an hydromassage bench - just for you, you don't have to share it! The perfect situation of the house allows you to do several excursions around Pla de l'Estany by bike or on foot, through the lake's surroundings, which are designated as an area of natural interest. You can also visit Girona province since the house lays in the centre of it. Also, horse riding is available 2 km. away. Extensive tourist information is found at the house. A car is not necessary because there is public transport (bus) available just 300 meters from the house.
