Situated at the Gateway to the Cotswold's, England's largest designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Broadway is one of the most beautiful villages in England. The wide High Street lined with horse chestnut trees has a mixture of period houses, picturesque honey coloured Cotswold stone cottages, Art Galleries, Antique Shops and Restaurants. Broadway's unique location makes it an ideal base for touring the Cotswold's numerous villages and is within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon, Cheltenham, Warwick and Oxford.

2, The Old Bakery is a pretty, Cotswold stone cottage, four minutes gentle walk from Broadway Village Green. The cottage is one of four and has a beautiful little south-facing garden with a brook running along the bottom of it. This comfortable cottage is tastefully decorated, with full gasfired central heating and provides the perfect base for your visit to Broadway and the Cotswold's. The Ground Floor comprises a sitting room with feature electric fire (log burning fire at Christmas period if required) and French doors leading into the enclosed garden and patio, with garden furniture, separate dining room, fully equipped kitchen and guest cloakroom. The sitting room has a colour TV, DVD, CD. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric double oven & grill, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. The First Floor comprises two double / twin bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and Mira shower. There is enough space to add one extra bed in the main bedroom if required, at a small supplement. Please note - because of the stream at the bottom of the garden, this cottage is not suitable for families with children under 7, and we do not allow pets or smokers. Private parking is provided for one car, other parking may be arranged.

Broadway Village has many attractions including Broadway Tower, The Gordon Russell museum plus it is a Mecca for walkers with many footpaths (including the Cotswold Way) passing through and around the village. The Village Hall holds several events through out the year and there is an annual R.H.S Affiliated Horticultural & Craft Show on the second Saturday in September on the Village Green. It is also conveniently situated for touring all of the North Cotswold Villages plus is within an hours drive of Oxford(55min) - University and theatre, Cheltenham(25min) - music & literary festivals plus Prestbury Park race course home of the Gold Cup and theatre, Gloucester(35min) - Cathedral (set for Harry Potter) and Historic Docks, Stratford-upon-Avon(35min) - Shakespeare's birthplace plus theatre, Warwick(45min) Castle plus museums, Tewkesbury(25min) - Abbey, Rivers Avon / Severn & battlefield site. Worcester(50min) Cathedral and Royal Worcester Porcelain Visitors centre.
Apart from the other beautiful Cotswold villages in the area there are several National Trust properties (Snowshill Manor, Hidcote Manor Gardens, Coughton Court, Hanbury Court, Dover’s Hill (home of the Cotswold Olynpiks(sic)). English Heritage's Hales Abbey and other privately owned gardens open to the public. There are several golf courses in the area, horse riding and fishing locally plus a Heritage Steam Railway 5 miles away at Toddington.
For those who wish to travel further afield then there is a main rail line with Stations at Evesham (15min) and Morton in Marsh (20min) to Worcester, Oxford and London Paddington(approx 45min).
Broadway and the surrounding Villages have an abundance of fine restaurants for lunch and dinner and an array of cafes for those snacks during the day.
