Toad Hall is a spacious Grade II listed timber framed house, complete with Inglenook fireplace and a wealth of exposed timbers in its interior. Set in two acres of garden in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, it is within two hours drive from London, near the Heritage Coast and the ancient town of Woodbridge on the River Deben with its restaurants, pubs and antique shops. Horse riding is just along the lane and golf, fishing, sailing etc. are a short drive away.

Churchend House is a traditional 18th Century farmhouse set in the village of Slimbridge in Gloucestershire, holding a prominent position within the village and is only 5 minutes from the world famous Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust reserve. From the village you can enjoy lovely walks along the canal, as well as enjoying boat trips which take you as far as the docks in Gloucester. There are 3 pub/restaurants within walking distance, all serving good food and beer, and there is also the superb facilities within the Wildfowl trust itself. The historic cities of Gloucester and Cheltenham are a short drive away, and of course you are in a great position to explore the Cotswolds, particularly the Stroud valleys.

These detached barn conversions are located in idyllic Cotswold countryside, close to the Windrush valley and in the area of the old Wychwood Forest, yet within easy striking distance of Burford, Oxford, Blenheim, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. Nearby, on the banks of the Windrush, are the old ruins of Minster Lovell Hall and there are many other attractions and places of interest to be found locally.

The Barns are comfortable and very fully equipped. Both are centrally heated and facilities include satellite TV, with DVD players. No more than a few dozen houses, Applethwaite is the most sought-after village around Keswick, and it's not hard to see why. The village is a sleepy little hamlet, more reminiscent of Madeira than England, with hens, ducks, goats and sheep wandering over the lane. Hungate Cottages comprises 11 highly individual cottages, in a peaceful setting, just a short walk from Pickering town centre. Abernethy is a beautifully restored Victorian town house, sleeping up to 12, right in the heart of the famous Lake District town of Keswick. Recently used for the filming of ‘Miss Potter’, a film about Beatrix Potter starring Renee Zellweger, Low Millgillhead offers three self catering Georgian houses within two acres of gardens in the small village of Lamplugh. The two larger properties are the main house, Millgillhead, offering stylish accommodation for up to ten people, and Croft House, which is a barn conversion to high standards, with accommodation for twelve.

Lamplugh is the perfect starting place to explore the fells, rivers, lakes and tarns of this beautiful part of the Lake District. There are a variety of walks right from the front door, or Loweswater Lake is just four miles away, with Buttermere and Crummock just a mile or two beyond. Nestling at the foot of the Pennines and enjoying uninterrupted views of the Lakeland Fells, Milburn Grange is an excellent base for walking, cycling, touring, or relaxing. In addition, within easy access there are coarse fishing lakes, 2 golf courses, and riding stables. Nearby, there are two pubs, both of which serve good food and welcome children and, within walking distance there is a village store/Post Office/garage.

Our seven self-contained cottages (some beamed) have been converted from redundant barns and are ideal for a break at any time of the year. They are centrally heated, comfortably furnished and each has a fitted, fully equipped kitchen (microwave, full-size cooker; fridge) and colour TV, two cottages have 4-poster beds and 2 have open fires. The three-bedroom cottages have a dishwasher and washing machine. Stable Cottage (2 bedrooms) also has a washing machine. In addition, there is a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and irons in the communal laundry room.

Located in the quiet, unspoilt village of Oakridge Lynch, between Stroud and Cirencester, in the Five Valleys region of the South Cotswolds, these two cottages within a stone's throw of each other provide ideal accommodation for large groups in the heart of the English Countryside. The largest of the cottages, The Old Mill, has eight bedrooms, and one galleried bedroom to sleep up to 19 people. The next cottage, Blandfords, has four bedrooms, to comfortably sleep 9 people. Both cottages are beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped, with plenty of traditional character, yet all the trappings of modern-day living. For wedding parties in particular, the abundance of bathrooms - four in The Old Mill (3 ensuite) and three in Blandfords, make getting ready for the big event that much less stressful!!

At the turn of the century, our grounds and buildings formed part of the Estate of the Vivians of Clyne Castle, the copper barons of Swansea and the world.
