Waters Edge enjoys a prime position in a quiet location within the new Jackson's landing Marina complex. The historic quay is busy with activities such as dinghy sailing, canoe trials with charter fishing craft going about their business. At nighttime the scene is just as exciting with the quay all lit up with twinkling lights and the city beyond.

The Apartment

The apartment is on the second floor, with a balcony from which you can actually look down into the water. Enjoy from the comfort of the lounge the panoramic view, and watch all the comings and goings of the 500 berth Marina through the ancient sea lock.

The 20 ft lounge has 2 comfortable three seater settees, stylish glass dining table with 6 cream leather chairs, French doors opening on to the balcony, and is equipped with 28" flat screen Toshiba TV, video, DVD and Hi-Fi. The kitchen has marina views and is fully fitted with all the usual appliances including washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. There is a private lobby, inner hall with entry phone, bathroom with over bath shower, and two bedrooms - 1 double room with balcony, and 1 family room with 1 double and 2 single beds. A designated parking space is provided. Please note, the apartment is not suitable for disabled, as there are 24 stairs to reach it.

The complex is designed around an Australian setting incorporating multiplex cinema, Springs health and fitness centre with swimming pool, designer outlet shopping, high class (but not expensive) bars and restaurants with a world choice of foods.

From the apartment it is also only a short walk to the town centre with its shopping mall, clubs, bars, restaurants and theatre. You can also walk or bike on the newly built promenade all the way to Seaton Carew or explore the Flagship Historic Quay and museum with the amazing HMS Trincomalee. The whole Marina is a joy to explore, with seats dotted all around the complex so that if something attracts your interest you can rest awhile and enjoy the spectacle.

There is a wealth of things to see and do without the need to use your car, however Hartlepool is well placed as a central touring area for the beautiful but often overlooked Teesdale Valley, Durham, Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, and the Northumbrian coast.
