If you do agree to rent one of the properties listed on our site, you deal directly with the owner, with whom you have your contract. Whilst we therefore cannot play a significant part in any disputes arising, we will do our best to achieve a satisfactory outcome for you in the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your accommodation.

When booking a property, you will be expected to pay an initial deposit to secure it. The deposit varies between properties, but is normally taken as a percentage of the rent due for the period. Owners should acknowledge receipt of your deposit and thus confirm their acceptance of your booking for the period agreed, subject to them receiving the balance of payment within the period they specify. You may also be asked to provide a deposit to cover against damages during your stay, which will normally be retained until after your departure and returned to you if no damages occurred.
