Somersal Cottages are set on a 150 acre farm at the end of a quiet country lane on the edge of the village of Somersal Herbert in Derbyshire. The cottages comprise of a particularly delightful and exceptionally spacious detached farmhouse along with three magnificent barn conversions. In total providing accommodation for up to 60 people, they are ideally suited for family group holidays, large gatherings, reunions, weddings, celebrations, or as a corporate venue for meetings.

The Coach House (sleeps 8/11) is a single storey barn conversion with many exposed beams and trusses, comprising sitting room with sofabed, large fully equipped kitchen / dining room, four bedrooms (1 twin, 2 doubles, 1 triple), two ensuite bathrooms and a family bathroom.

The Granary (sleeps 12/17) offers spacious accommodation for the larger party - an interconnecting door to the Coach House can be opened to provide accommodation for up to 28 people. It comprises large beamed sitting room, kitchen / dining room, six bedrooms (3 with ensuite facilities) and a family bathroom.

The Stables (sleeps 18) has been skilfully renovated to provide luxurious accommodation with period character. It has a large kitchen with separate dining area, good sized living room, games room, six bedrooms and five bathrooms (4 of which are ensuite).

The Farmhouse (sleeps 16/18) was built in the 1860’s and retains many of the existing character features. It has two large sitting rooms with cosy open fires, a large kitchen / dining room, 8 bedrooms (2 dbl ensuite, 1 dbl, 3 twins, 1 triple and 1 single), family bathroom and additional shower room.

Set in 90 acres of pastureland and ancient woodlands with stunning views, Middle Stanley House and Elmbury Cottage are two beautiful Cotswold Stone properties located about 3 miles from Winchcombe - a fabulous location from which to enjoy the Cotswolds. On-site facilities include a tennis court, fishing lake, games room with a pool table and a party barn, The Havana Club. We also have a meeting room which can be used in boardroom or presentation format, suitable for seminars, small conferences, talk-ins, study groups or simply relaxing and enjoying the surroundings and being in the Cotswolds.

Middle Stanley House is a traditional 17th Century farmhouse, which has been tastefully furnished and decorated in keeping with the period, but with all modern comforts such as central heating, stylish modern bathrooms etc. It has six bedrooms and five bathrooms, to accommodate 12/16 people.

Elmbury Cottage is an Old Cotswold Stone Barn converted to beautiful holiday cottage, with huge 30-foot kitchen / dining / sitting room with open pine beams, which give a feeling of space and light. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, to accommodate up 8 people.

Two additional bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) are available in The Craft Studio adjacent, to accommodate a further 4 people.

The properties can be rented individually, or together for accommodation for large groups of up to 28 people - the large dining table in Middle Stanley House can seat up to 18 people, to enable communal eating.
