Yetland Farm Cottages in North Devon are situated down a quiet country lane, just outside Combe Martin and in the parish of Berrynarbor. Our fields give great views of Exmoor and across the sea to South Wales, and also provide good dog walking. The village of Combe Martin has the longest village high street in the country, stretching from the small sandy beach with its rock pools, to a full two miles inland. The village was famous for its lead and silver mines as well as for strawberry growing. The village of Berrynarbor is two miles away, and can only be described as a traditional North Devon village, with its narrow streets and white washed walls, large church and traditional pub.

The cottages are all converted from 18th Century farm barns, and are situated around the old farm courtyard. All of our self catering cottages have been given a Four Star rating by the English Tourism Council, and come with free linen, towels and electricity. Approached by a long private tree-lined drive and completely surrounded by beautiful open countryside, Trecan Farm Cottages are built from traditional Cornish stone and provide the perfect setting for a peaceful relaxing holiday. Children can play safely in the paddocks, meet the goats or feed the rabbits and chickens and collect eggs. We also have our own all weather tennis court and a games barn with snooker, table tennis and darts. The situation is idyllic, just 10 mins from Looe and its superb beaches, and only 15 minutes from the acclaimed Eden Project.

Maddox Down Farm is situated in a quiet hamlet with stunning views over the Countryside - quiet and completely rural. It has been in the Lerwill Family since the 1500's, and is a working farm, only 2 miles from the edge of Exmoor National Park, and 3 miles from the sea. From the top of the farm, on a clear day, you can also see Wales, 25 miles away. The farm lane is a cycleway, route no 56, and there is also a Public footpath running through the farm, which takes you to Combe Martin, passing a standing stone of local interest. Going the other way you pass the ancient Church at East Down before reaching our local hostelry "The Pyne Arms" which is open all day for food and liquid refreshment.

The traditional stone barns have been converted to five comfortable cottages in keeping with the area, with one to three bedrooms. Each cottage is well equipped, with TV, video and DVD, and kitchens with cooker, washing machine, microwave and fridge, as well as dishwashers in the larger cottages. The Dairy has one double bedroom to sleep 2, while The Granary, The Roundhouse and The Stable have two bedrooms; the second bedroom in The Stable has twin beds plus a full size bunk bed, so can accommodate up to 6. The largest cottage, The Barn, has three bedrooms, also to sleep 6.

On site there is a games room, a converted cart linhay, with pool table, table tennis, table football, darts, play area for smaller children and an area with books, board games, videos and DVD, together with an area outside with swing, ride on toys and swing ball. In the meadow below the cottages there is a catch and release fishing lake, stocked with Trout and Carp which can be used by our guests free of charge. Dogs are welcome in some cottages. All share superb facilities including an indoor heated pool, a superb purpose built indoor soft play area for toddlers (including ball pool, slide, tunnels, lofthouse and other toys), tennis, table tennis, pool table and outdoor play areas. The area is awash with local attractions and there is an excellent 11th century local village pub that is child friendly. Wonderful sandy beaches are within 30 minutes.

Moncks Green is an 'upside down' cottage which will sleep up to six plus a cot. Downstairs are three bedrooms - one double with a Four-poster bed, one twin and one bunk bedded room. There is a separate bathroom/WC with shower attachment. On the first floor is a comfortable and bright living room with lovely views over the pond, river and surrounding countryside. Nestling at the foot of the Pennines and enjoying uninterrupted views of the Lakeland Fells, Milburn Grange is an excellent base for walking, cycling, touring, or relaxing. In addition, within easy access there are coarse fishing lakes, 2 golf courses, and riding stables. Nearby, there are two pubs, both of which serve good food and welcome children and, within walking distance there is a village store/Post Office/garage.

Our seven self-contained cottages (some beamed) have been converted from redundant barns and are ideal for a break at any time of the year. They are centrally heated, comfortably furnished and each has a fitted, fully equipped kitchen (microwave, full-size cooker; fridge) and colour TV, two cottages have 4-poster beds and 2 have open fires. The three-bedroom cottages have a dishwasher and washing machine. Stable Cottage (2 bedrooms) also has a washing machine. In addition, there is a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and irons in the communal laundry room.

On this floor are two bedrooms - one double with a four-poster bed and en-suite shower room/WC and one twin bedded room. On the first floor is a large gallery sitting area with pleasant views over fields and hillside. Here are two further bedrooms, one double and one bunk bedded. Berry Park is a splendid Victorian Country House, full of character and set in six acres of attractive gardens and fields in the beautiful Devon countryside right next to the Cornish Border. It is close to the sea, in the unspoiled hamlet of Welcombe. The house has been skillfully converted into apartments of various sizes. All have been carefully modernised to provide every comfort, whilst retaining the original Victorian features giving them style and character. There are also two cottages adjoining the main house, these date back to the 16th century.

All our accommodation is fully equipped for easy self-catering but we also have a small restaurant serving evening meals to our residents should they wish. We have a games room, heated outdoor swimming pool and a variety of friendly farm animals and pets.

Houndapitt Farm Cottages was formerly 19th Century stables and barns, its tasteful conversion has retained much of the old character. Its large paved courtyard is decked out with a blaze of colour in the summer. Each cottage has it's own parking space adjacent to the cottage. We also have a large games room, adventure playgound and a coarse fishing lake which is free to our guests, all this and we are only a 10 minuite drive into the main town of Bude.

All the cottages are of a high standard, superbly equipped (some including dishwashers), and provide exceptional value for money. The lounge areas have comfortable settees, arm chairs, occasional tables and reading lamps and the all-important remote controlled colour tv and video recorder. Bedrooms have comfortable beds with duvets and pillows, bed side lights, wardrobes dressing table areas, drawer or shelf space, and Master bedrooms have a hairdryer. Children are always welcome and the cottages are well-equipped for all your family needs, from cots and highchairs to safety gates and baby baths. Formerly a 200 year old granary barn, the property has been recently converted to provide spacious, luxurious accommodation for up to 10 people. It has a very large 40’ sitting room with wooden floor, large new comfy sofas, wood-burning stove, dining table, TV, video, CD player and French doors opening onto the pool. Also on the ground floor there is large shower room with WC. Brand new well-equipped Christians kitchen has all modern facilities including a Range cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.
