Brunt Knott Farm Holiday Cottages, Staveley, Near Kendal, The Lake District, Cumbria, England

Brunt Knott Farm is a 17th century Lakeland hill farm with magnificent views from the sea to the highest point in England. The farm is situated at the foot of the beautiful Kentmere valley between the county town of Kendal and Lake Windermere. With beautiful views from their windows, the cottages are ideally located for lovers of peace and solitude, wildlife enthusiasts and keen walkers.  

The cottages are traditionally constructed in stone and slate, each with its own garden area and private parking. Décor is traditional, with rustic beams, full carpeting and comfortable furniture. All include colour television, electric cooker, microwave and refrigerator. Barbeque sets and garden furniture are also available.  

The Stables sleeps two with lounge/dining room with open fire, fitted kitchen, double bedroom and shower room. The Hayloft sleeps two with lounge with sofa and reclining armchairs and woodburning stove, fitted kitchen/dining area, double bedroom and shower room. The Bothy sleeps four and has an open plan lounge / dining area, fitted kitchen, two bedrooms (1 dbl, 1 twin) and shower room. The Byre is on three floors and sleeps five, with entrance hall, shower room and bedroom (single plus a set of bunk beds) on the ground floor, lounge / kitchen / dining area on the first floor, and a large attic style double bedroom on the second floor.
