Port Isaac is well positioned on the North Cornish coast for some beautiful walking and bird watching. A short drive away are the watersports centres (sailing, windsurfing, water skiing etc) and Golf Courses at Rock and Daymer Bay, surfing at Polzeath and a little further afield at Newquay, cycle hire for The Camel Trail and shopping at Wadebridge, fishing and boat trips from Padstow. The Eden Project, Truro and several National Trust Properties and Gardens all lie within easy daily reach.
“Wayside” is a large self-catering holiday cottage type bungalow, with full central heating, used regularly by ourselves and visitors throughout the year. Positioned above the harbour at Port Isaac and the beach at Portgaverne, with its own gardens and on-site parking, “Wayside” is ideally situated within easy walking distance of all local amenities and both beaches. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, each with its own wash facilities, at opposite ends of the house ensuring maximum privacy should two couples wish to share the property. The rooms are all on one level inside and outside so there are no steps/stairs. The tranquil plot is large, sunny and provides one of the more sheltered and private gardens in the village, with the house itself sitting well back from the road and pedestrian traffic. There is ample space to store bikes, watersports equipment, wetsuits etc, an outside tap for rinsing outdoor gear and the on site parking is accessed through an 8ft+ access drive. Garden furniture, a rotary washing line & pegs and a barbecue with tools are provided.
The accommodation comprises, a fully glazed porch, double bedroom with sea view and en-suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen/diner including microwave, washer/drier, dining table & 4 chairs and woodburner, sitting room with open fire, TV/DVD/CD players & telephone/answerphone, twin bedroom and shower room.
