Stow on the Wold, meaning meeting place on the hill, is a fine example of a small English Market Town. Located in the Northeast Cotswolds and stands beside the Roman Fosse Way. Surrounded by spectacular countryside, both driving and walking are a joy. It is approximately 800 feet above sea level. A settlement has existed here since the Iron Age.

The Georgian Cotswold stone cottage has been extensively renovated whilst still retaining its Cotswold charms. Warm and inviting the cottage is entered via a small porch that takes you into the large lounge with big comfy sofas. There is an open fire for chilly evenings, TV and DVD, CD/radio/cassette player, lots of books, magazines and games to amuse. A bright dining room with seating for six leads out to a tranquil courtyard garden with patio furniture and outside lighting. There is a fully equipped luxury bespoke kitchen. Downstairs are a large double bedroom with pine country furniture and an additional toilet with hand basin and shaving point. On the first floor is the Master bedroom with King size Victorian style iron bedstead, antique pine and satinwood furniture, wall mounted flat screen TV and en-suite bathroom. The second double bedroom also has a Victorian style brass and iron bedstead, a built in wardrobe and fitted bookshelves with small library.
