SURPRISE VIEW COTTAGES, Farndale, North Yorkshire Moors National Park
Three stylish and comfortable cottages on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, with wonderful panoramic views, sleeping 4 and 8 people.
Nestled on a farmstead in the North York Moors National Park (Heartbeat Country), at the lower end of Farndale, famous for its wild daffodils, this newly renovated farmhouse and stylish barn conversions were designed to provide home from home, with glorious scenic outlook; comfort being the keyword! The cottages are an excellent base for walking, being on the very edge of the Moors and having immediate access to fields, tracks, woods and a network of public footpaths including the link walk; you can walk out leaving your car behind! Named after the well-known, panoramic view looking down from the nearby church at Gillamoor; they are only 1 mile from the picturesque village of Hutton-le-Hole with its renowned Ryedale Folk Museum.
The cottages are extremely comfortable and well-equipped - with exposed beams, tasteful decor, pretty fabrics and furnishings; each has fitted carpets throughout, full oil-fired central heating, woodburning stove, colour TV, DVD, video, CD player/radio, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and payphone.
Field Barn Cottage and Surprise View Cottage are stylish barn conversions which sleep 4 people each, in one double and one twin bedroom. Lowna Farmhouse is the beautiful heart of Surprise View, with four bedrooms (2 dbl, 2 twin), three of which have ensuite shower rooms. Each of the cottages has a south-facing stone-paved patio area.
