| Cosy cottage with open fires and stunning views of St Michael's Mount, sleeps 4. | £300 - £450 | |||
Why not take a break in Cornwall, UK. Marazion is a small 12th century coastal town which lies in the very south western tip of Britain. It boasts having St Michael's Mount lying off its shores and this is described as the jewel in the sea. Cornwall is known as the English Riviera - lying in the Gulf Stream so the waters are warm, with palm trees growing all year. Marazion has many qualities of village life with tiny whitewashed cottages, cobbled stone streets and quaint local pubs. It is well situated to all of the local attractions such as St Ives (famous for artists and pottery - home of Barbara Hepworth), Lands End, Porthcurnow and the Minnack Theatre (a theatre carved into the rocks and used by the Shakespearean theatre company) as well as the Seal Sanctuary in Gwent, Flambards Fun Land in Helston and many beautiful secluded coves. Cornwall is the home of King Arthur and the Round Table. See his castle at Tintagel and the Eden Project at St Austell.
