Relax and explore England’s most glorious National Park from Bells Farm - a traditional Cumbrian farmhouse which has been carefully refurbished to provide excellent accommodation for up to eight people. Overlooking Blencathra, the house is ideal for walkers, cyclists (we are on the famous C2C route) or those who just want to relax in the idyllic countryside.
Ideally situated in the picturesque rural hamlet of Berrier, within easy reach of the lakes and fell walks, Bells Farm is only a ten minute drive from Keswick, Derwentwater, Ullswater and Penrith. Bells Farm offers amazing views towards the Pennines and Northern Fells. It’s a quick drive to Penrith or Keswick for shopping, and there are many good pubs serving food in nearby villages, plus a wide range of cultural and sporting activities which we can advise you about.
Indoors: two TVs (one with DVD, the other video), a piano, lots of board games and books, a woodburning stove, a spacious dining room and cosy beamed sitting room, dishwasher, washing machine, baby cot, oil fired central heating etc. etc. There are two twin and one double bedroom and a bathroom upstairs, plus downstairs an extra bedroom with bunk beds and en suite shower. Everything you need for a comfortable easy family holiday. Outside, the house has gardens on two sides, including a patio with barrel seating, a pond and a lawn leading to private parking for three cars.
Well behaved dogs are welcome. But no smoking!
