Adjacent to the owners' property, this charming barn conversion is set in a remote position down a cart track with open views to countryside and fen supporting bird and wildlife. There is a good system of local footpaths and bridleways for cycling leading to village amenities including Banham Zoo with weekly car boot sale, shops, post office, takeaway and pub with occasional live music, additional food pubs close. Easy reach of Thetford Forest. An hour to sandy beaches and the Broads. Norwich and Bury St Edmunds 18 miles. Snetterton race track 4 miles. Market town of Diss 7 miles. Fakenham and Newmarket races an hour away, plus National trust properties within easy reach. Two steam museums within 20mins.
The accommodation comprises a wood-studded Sitting room with TV, spacious Dining / Breakfast room and separate kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, cooker and washing machine. There is one twin bedroom with stairs to low ceiling double bedroom, and a bathroom with over bath shower and WC. Outside is a paved patio area and BBQ, together with parking. The cottage is heated by oil fired central heating, for which there is a supplement between Nov 1st to April 1st of £15/week. Prices include all linen, and high chair and cot by arrangement. Please note that the cottage is non-smoking, and we cannot accept pets due to local farm stock.
