"Thanks Steve for your advice, directions and recommendations in your holiday folders. It's been fabulous - sunshine and long hours of it, great walking on Glenlivet Estate - you can't go wrong with the waymarked trails. The landrover tours on the estate with Glenlivet wildlife are excellent. Put the pots and pans away for the week and enjoy great hospitality at the Croft Inn. The Cairngorms might be crawling with BBC crews (Springwatch), but there's just so much wildlife for all to enjoy. I'll miss the waking to the sound of the curlew, being mobbed by oystercatchers and the cuckoo in the woods opposite. If you can drag yourself away from the cottage area - the visitors centre at Culloden is great."

"These have to be the most sensational cottages I have stayed anywhere in my vast travels. The views are fantastic and the owners are the most wonderful people, with a tremendous wealth of knowledge. It is a great base for day trips around the highlands and the area is absolutely glorious in all types of weather. There are plenty of opportunities for nice long walks in and around Glenlivet, Tomintoul and Ben Rinnes. I’ve been returning from Australia to Bluefolds for the past eight years, and plan to continue doing so, I just love the place. I have stayed in all but one of the cottages and all are very clean, comfortable, warm and cosy and very well appointed."

"By pure chance we found Bluefolds on the Internet. We are so pleased we did - it is a gorgeous place - so much so we are keeping this place a secret!! My children saw a hare for the first time and loved watching the sheep and cows daily. Our binoculars were continually busy. Steve has been wonderful and friendly and a real pleasure to meet.
