This 350 year old cottage - once the home of the local blacksmith and his family - is located in a quiet (access only) street close to the main market square in Buxton, a spa town and a market town in the centre of the Derbyshire Peak District. Ideal for walkers it is surrounded by peaks and dales, moors and beautiful rambling countryside.

The cottage retains a lot of its old period charm, with features such as thick limestone walls with deep recessed windows and large oak beam fireplace with cast iron open hearth fire, but is equipped with all the comforts of modern living including gas central heating and modern kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, washer and fridge freezer. It has two bedrooms - 1 double and 1 single, to sleep up to 3 people.
