Welcome to our Luxury Ski Chalets French Alps section, with what we consider to be some of the best luxury ski chalets in the French Alps.

Defining a luxury ski chalet is difficult, as it means different things to different people, but the definitions we have used are that the ski chalet itself needs to provide all the creature comforts, all rooms should have ensuite facilities, catering should be of a very high standard, and the all round service should be excellent. Quite a few of these chalets also have luxury features such as a sauna, jacuzzi, and of course that warming log fire!!

Nestling in Nancroix village at the heart of Paradiski, Chalet Myrtilles is a traditional 300 year old building, which has been carefully restored to provide an effective blend of original features and modern comforts.

The spacious sitting dining area has a log fire, floor to ceiling windows and a south-facing balcony with views of the surrounding mountains. There are five comfortable en-suite bedrooms with ample space for ten adults and, for family groups of more than 10, the largest room can easily be converted into a bunkroom or additional beds or cots can be fitted into the other bedrooms.

We provide tea with fresh home made cakes and afterwards you can relax in the sauna before enjoying a four course meal and a few glasses of wine. Our menus are carefully selected and prepared from fresh local produce and are one of the reasons why people return year after year.

We provide airport transfers and can help you organise lift passes, equipment hire and child care before you arrive. During your stay our staff will be on hand to help you make the most of Paradiski, the vast ski area that has been created by linking the two diverse areas of Les Arcs and La Plagne. They will be happy to show you the best spots on the mountain to ski, board, or simply sit in the sun for lunch or a vin chaud.

Chalet Biniou is located by a green run that goes through Belle Plagne village at 2050m. Access to the piste is a leisurely 40 paces from the front door. Part of a terrace of quality chalets, Chalet Biniou is arranged over 3 levels, with an open plan living / dining room, kitchen, 4 bath / shower rooms and 5 bedrooms - one double ensuite, three twins (2 ensuite) and one bunk-bedded room; two further mattresses are available to make triple rooms if required.

Finished using the traditional Savoyard style of construction of stone and timber, the accommodation has character, whilst also providing rooms with excellent facilities. The style of construction continues through the interior - traditional plaster and wood panelling on the walls, tiled floors in the public areas, and bedrooms and bathrooms fitted with pine furniture.

Included with the 7 nights accommodation is 7 days breakfast; 6 days afternoon tea and dinner with wine (staff have 1 day off); all linen, bath and hand towels and servicing of the rooms. With a combined experience of 20 seasons running Chalets in the Alps (14 in La Plagne), Clair and Phil have developed a reputation for producing a varied and exciting menu of excellent food - and ensure this experience and high standards are reflected in all the meals prepared by any of their staff .

The chalet is run by owners Paul and Helen Thrupp. We offer summer and winter chalet holidays in Chatel in the heart of the Portes Du Soleil. The chalet is perfectly located approx 90 minutes from Geneva airport and a 5 minute walk from the centre of Chatel and the Super Chatel ski lift. It nestles snugly on the side of the mountain with spectacular views in both directions along the valley.

In traditional alpine style Chalet des Arbres is comfortable and inviting. The living area, with its raised open fire and comfy sofas, is the ideal place to relax and wind down after the day’s activities. In the dining area the refectory style table is where you will enjoy our superb cuisine and the opportunity to get to know your fellow guests. There is a Sauna and Hot Tub which are available to use all year round. The 4 bedrooms are decorated in traditional style with en suite or private bathrooms. There are two family rooms and two twin / double rooms.

Chalet Ensoleille has been constructed to our high specifications and sits above the main Morzine/Montriond road with unrivalled views across the valley. The free ski bus stops on the main road serving both Morzine and Ardent (for fast access to the Porte du Soleil area). The chalet is a short walk from either the bustling bars of Morzine or the quieter hamlet of Montriond. Snow and Trek offer a minibus service to and from the slopes each morning and afternoon.

The chalet is extremely spacious and comfortably furnished to a high standard, and will sleep up to 14 in 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The chalet has a spacious and comfortable lounge and dining room with a roaring log fire and magnificent views from the balcony. There are also tea and coffee making facilities for our guests and an honesty bar.

Alp Inn is situated on a quiet side street in the centre of Morzine, a ski's throw away from the lifts and pistes and the bars, restaurants and shops are all on your doorstep.

The chalet sleeps 14 in 7 very spacious bedrooms with designer bath and shower rooms, there is a huge luxurious living space on the top floor of the chalet with an open fire and amazing views through fantastic floor to ceiling windows and balconies off each side. Situated less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of Chamonix and 5 minutes walk from the Aiguille du Midi cable car, this lovely chalet is ideally located so that all your winter amenities are close at hand. The Cham bus stop is also only 50 metres away which will take you to all parts of the valley.

Recently renovated and newly furnished, the chalet provides a comfortable and friendly atmosphere with fabulous views. The beautiful living/dining room on the first floor has been designed in a traditional style creating a warm, friendly and spacious environment for you to relax, with comfortable sofas and chairs surrounding an open fireplace. A balcony surrounds the first floor living area from which you can fully appreciate the chalet's position at the foot of Mont Blanc. Enjoy log fires, delicious organic food and real alpine village life in our luxury farmhouse ski chalet in the ski area of Peisey-Vallandry (Les Arcs/Paradiski). Renovated ready for the 2008/9 season, the Woodshed sleeps up to 19 and has 7 large bedrooms (6 ensuite), a dining room, two living rooms, a library area and separate games room. The Woodshed is great for weekend and short breaks too as we have no set changeover day and can do a B&B service.

Located on the edge of Landry (2700ft/800m), an old alpine village and part of the Peisey-Vallandry ski resort, the Woodshed is just a short distance from the ski lifts and slopes of Les Arcs and La Plagne (420km of snowsure pistes with beautiful forest runs and slopes to suit every level from beginners to experts). We run you up to either the Peisey Vallandry or Montchavin ski lifts every morning and bring you back when you want in the afternoon. The drive takes less than 10 mins (7km) to the lifts in Montchavin.

The farmhouse is also within less than an hour's drive of other popular ski resorts including the Meribel, Courchevel, Tignes-Val d'Isere, Sainte Foy, La Rosiere and Valmorel. You can either self-drive, or ask about our 'Powder Safari' packages (3 or 6 days all inclusive off-piste skiing/riding led by a qualified mountain guide, visiting a different resort every day).

Le Chateau is situated less than a 5 minute walk from the bustling centre of Morzine, which itself offers a fabulous location for access to the whole of the Portes du Soleil. There is a ski bus that stops every 10 minutes just 100 meters from the chalet. In addition we have a vehicle to ferry you to and from the lifts each day.

Chalet Chardon is located right by the blue Inversins piste that joins Belle Plagne and Plagne Bellecote. Access to the piste is directly from the ski/snowboard storage room, and skiing/snowboarding back to the chalet is possible throughout the season due to the high elevation of 2050m. Chalet Chardon is a chalet-apartment on 1 level, created using the traditional Savoyard style of construction with stone and timber. This creates accommodation with character, whilst also providing rooms with excellent facilities.

The chalet has an open plan lounge / dining / kitchen area, with 4 large sofas, log fire, Cable TV, video, DVD, Hi-Fi, boardgames, and access to the balcony with excellent views over the piste, and the sunset over the Tarentaise valley in the evenings. There are seven bedrooms - all twins, with ensuite bathrooms with Jacuzzi baths; all except one has access to balconies, and additional single mattresses can be added to 3 of the bedrooms to accommodate up to 17 people in total, plus infants in cots. For larger groups, an additional chalet apartment - with the same high level of specification and 1 or 3 twin rooms, can be made available to cater for around 23 guests. Everyone can come together for meals in Chalet Chardon.

Chalet Chardon can be booked on a bedroom by bedroom basis, or by groups.
