Hadden Cottage is an 1860 end of terrace cottage situated in the large village of Briston, North Norfolk just four miles from the Georgian town of Holt and eight miles from Blakeney and the North Norfolk coast.

The cottage has two double bedrooms with a sofa bed in the extensive kitchen/diner. There is a secure and secluded sun trapped garden, with its decking at the rear for that glass of wine at the end of the day. There is off road parking at the rear of the cottage for two cars.

This charming, beautifully furnished, 1860 end of terrace cottage, with its very pretty secluded garden, sleeps 4 people plus a cot. In detail, the accommodation comprises:-

Ground floor:

  • Sitting room with open log fire, TV with Freeview, DVD and CD players. 2 seater sofa, 2 chairs, leather swivel chair, small wicker chair, coffee table and nest of tables.
  • Inner hall with bathroom/wc with a separate shower cubicle and Utility boiler room leading to:
  • Large spacious kitchen/dining room with patio door to the garden. There is a pine table with seating for 6 and a sofa bed. Washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and radio.

In North Norfolk

There are plenty of nature and wildlife reserves with the RSPB at Titchwell and Snettisham, the Pensthorpe Wildfowl Centre and the salt marshes at Cley and Stiffkey. Blakeney and Morston are two lovely small fishing ports offering Seal trips over to Blakeney Point or quayside fishing for crabs.

We are blessed with a number of magnificent beaches, with possibly the best being the five miles at Holkham with the famous array of colourful beach huts. There are also great beaches between East and West Runton and between Cromer and Overstrand.There are a number of National Trust Houses and Country parks that are well worth a visit and a trip on the Poppy Line between Sherringham and Holt is a must for steam train enthusiasts!

For the keen golfers, Hunstanton, Brancaster, Sherringham and Cromer are arguably the finest links courses in England.
