The Setting

The dramatic site is surrounded by National Trust woodland and is accessed by a woodland drive leading down to the I920's house overlooking the timeless river Helford.

From the house secretive pathways lead away from open flat lawns to glades of magnolia, camelia and honeysuckle festooning ancient oaks.

Past woodland ponds & tree ferns the property enjoys a splendid quay and slipway of ancient granite. An ideal setting for small boat sailing and exploring the shoreline and tributaries of the Helford River.

If you do want to venture out of these wonderful surroundings, there are plenty of things for all the family to do in the area, including exploring rock pools, beaches, sailing, fishing, bird watching, coastal walks, golf and sub tropical gardens.

There are easy day's outings to Tate St Ives, New Falmouth Maritime Museum, Scilly Isles, Eden Project, Historic Houses Etc.

Local access to cinemas and theatre, excellent restaurants, good pubs and superb organic farm shop.
