The picturesque village of Blagdon nestles between the Mendip Hills and Blagdon Lake, ideally situated for anyone wanting to explore the lovely cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells - all within a short distance - as well as other interesting places of interest closeby such as Cheddar, Clevedon, Wookey Hole, Weston-Super-Mare etc.

The cottage has been fully modernised but retains many original features such as original flagstone floor, original fireplace and exposed beams. On the ground floor is the lounge, with woodburner, and a separate kitchen. From the kitchen a concealed staircase leads to the bedroom and en suite bathroom. Outside is a private patio - with table and chairs and a variety of tubs with flowers and shrubs. Off the patio is a small outbuilding with washing machine and room to store bikes, walking/fishing equipment. Welcome to 'Harberry' close to Penrith and an ideal base to explore the Eden Valley, the Northern Lake District and Pennine Hills. Penrith is 12 miles and Alston, the highest market town in England is only 9 miles away. Long Meg and her Daughters, one of England's finest Stone Circles and Little Meg cairn circle is just down the road near Little Salkheld. The Village shop & pub are only 3 miles away. There are traditional English Maypoles at Temple Sowerby and the nearby village of Milburn. Hadrian's Wall and Carlisle are a short drive away. If you would like to do some shopping Newcastle and the Metro Centre are about one hours drive away.

Our ground floor, self catering studio apartment is comfortably furnished and well equipped, overlooking a quiet stream at the bottom of the garden with views across the open countryside. It is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine, have an evening barbecue and just relax. The apartment has recently been refurbished and extended in a restful style and provides most modern comforts including central heating, lighting, colour TV, fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven, bed linen and towels. Set in the rural tranquillity of North Pembrokeshire, on a working farm 3 miles from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Hên Stabl has been converted from a former stable / coach-house to provide comfortable and spacious accommodation, whilst retaining the character of the original building. We are at the northern end of the Preseli Hills - Bluestone Country - and only 8 miles from the west coast of Pembrokeshire, with its rugged cliffs and sandy beaches. The nearest village is Boncath, 2 miles away, with a good village shop and pub, while the nearest town, Cardigan, is 7 miles away. There are many activities to be enjoyed in the area, such as fishing, golf, canoeing and pony trekking, as well as lots of walking country.

The cottage has full central heating as well as a gas-fired log effect stove in the sitting room. There is a colour TV with Teletext, Freeview, DVD player, video recorder and stereo radio / cassette / CD player. The fitted kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge, microwave and dining area with stable door opening into the large sheltered garden. The double bedroom with exposed beams has an ensuite bathroom, and opens onto a balcony with far-reaching views over open countryside to Cardigan Bay. Hên Stabl sleeps 2 adults and one baby up to 18 months at the time of the holiday, and we will provide a travel cot, highchair and stairgate, but not bedding for the cot. An automatic washing machine and tumble drier are provided in a nearby outbuilding. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome, for which there is an additional charge. This immaculately presented, double bedroomed cottage is situated at the gable end of a large converted barn set high above the valley of the Little Exe river about 4 miles from the UK's small Exmoor National park town of Dulverton. The beautiful Wimbleball Lake has a perimeter path of about 12 miles and both Wimbleball and the open heather moorland of Haddon Hill with its herd of Exmoor ponies and red deer are about 2 miles away. There is great walking and riding available in all seasons and permits for trout/salmon fishing can be arranged. Dulverton caters for daily shopping needs including a cash point and the local village pub is 1 mile away.

The cottage itself has a sitting room area with large oak beams, radiator, carpeted floor, comfortable sofa, wooden rocking chair, colour TV, video, small tables and a log burner. The kitchen area has cushion flooring, generous units, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, smaller appliances and good range of quality cooking utensils, crockery and glassware. Upstairs is a double bedroom, comfortably large enough for a cot or young child's bed and a bathroom with a power shower in double size cabinet, w.c., basin, shaver point and heated towel rail. Outside there is reasonable privacy and the cottage has it's own terrace with garden furniture and BBQ which overlooks the old lawned farmyard. Dogs are welcome by arrangement (supplement payable), beds are made up, all towels, electricity, main central heating and wood burner logs are provided.

For larger groups our other cottage, Toads Breech (which sleeps 4-5), is available to rent in conjunction with Buzzards. Weekly lets and short breaks are available.

Peacefully positioned on a family farm in north Norfolk, Harrow Barn is approximately 10 miles drive from the coast. The accommodation is custom-built for two. The conversion, which is four-star rated, aims to encompass the stunning views and maximise the elements of space, light and comfort.

The barn has oil-fired central heating, as well as a wood burning stove to welcome you after that bracing walk on Holkham beach! The vaulted living room has a leather 2-seater sofa and two fireside chairs. There is a 23" Flat-screen TV with Freeview, DVD and CD player. The separate dining area has a pine table and leather chairs. The kitchen area is modern and well equipped with full sized electric oven and hob, fridge & freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/drier. The generous bathroom is designed as a wet-room with bath and an open shower area. The spacious bedroom, which is also vaulted, has a King-sized bed. This can be made up as two 3ft if required.

Outside, the barn has open meadow frontage with unspoilt panoramic views and a wealth of local walks. Watch for gambolling hares or relax on the private patio and listen for the skylarks. The present owners have run Fern Cottage successfully as a holiday cottage since 1988. It is situated in the shadow of the internationally famous 'Cathedral of the Marshes’, down a lane leading to Blythburgh Marshes, that was originally the old Yarmouth Road; From Cromwell’s soldiers to Charles Dickens on his way to Blundeston in Norfolk, all have past this magical setting that is Fern Cottage. Thought to have been built in the 16th century, some of the beams used in its construction were probably taken from redundant ships when Blythburgh ceased to be a flourishing inland port in the 18th Century.

A pretty enclosed garden with lawn, flowers beds and garden, table and chairs is accessed from the lane by a five bar and wicket gate where there is standing room for two cars. A kitchen with table and chairs, electric oven, microwave and fridge leads to a small hallway with a shower room and toilet leading off. The cosy lounge has an open fire, TV, video and DVD and has a wonderful atmosphere to relax in after a days walking the marshes and the River Blyth or enjoying the beaches of Southwold and Walberswick. Steep cottage stairs lead to a landing bedroom with double bed, which in turn leads to another bedroom with two singles. Three double duvets and pillows are provided but not linen. Pets are welcome and there are lots of walks in the immediate vicinity and a large enclosed field adjacent to the lane.

Chadlington is set in the peaceful Evenlode valley close to the Wychwood Forest, and offers superb country walks. The village of Chadlington is well situated for exploring the many delightful Cotswold towns and villages close by. It is approximately 3 miles from Chipping Norton and less than 20miles from Oxford, which can be reached by train from Charlbury station, itself only 3 miles away. Chadlington has a Post Office, General Store and Butchers Shop, as well as a Village Inn / Restaurant and a Children’s Playground, all within easy walking distance of the cottage. Chipping Norton has a Sports Centre, Theatre, Library and good shopping facilities and amenities.

The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Steep stairs lead to a double bedroom and a bathroom with bath and toilet. (The bed settee in the living room allows additional sleeping accommodation if needed) The property also benefits from a garden room and secluded patio garden with furniture. A welcome tray with wine and homemade biscuits and marmalade is provided. All linen and electricity are included. One well-behaved pet is welcome - free of charge. The small local village of Ballinspittle, just a 400 yard walk from the property, offers shops, pubs and a grotto with its world famous, ‘moving’ statue. There is plenty of water sports (including kite surfing, kayaking, surfing, sailing and windsurfing) and the area is a delight for walkers, with a choice of lane, beach, wood or field walks to enjoy. Lovely Cottage is a charming 200 year old traditional flint cottage in the sleepy conservation village of North Creake. It is situated 4 miles from the coast, 3 miles from the picturesque Georgian village of Burnham Market and 1 mile from the historic village of Burnham Thorpe, the birth place of Lord Nelson. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty with miles of unspoilt beaches. The village has a small Post Office selling basics ie bread, milk etc, as well as the Jolly Farmer Pub, offering great food, just a 2 minute walk from the cottage.

Recently restored, tastefully decorated and well equipped throughout, the accommodation consists of a cosy lounge with open fire, fully fitted kitchen in ‘Shaker style’ with stainless steel electric hob and oven, fridge, washer/dryer, microwave etc., shower room with walk-in shower, and two bedrooms. Apple Tree House is a very spacious, warm, sandstone terraced cottage in the quiet village of Ullock, just 4 miles from Loweswater and surrounding fells, with the stunning Ennerdale and Crummock Lakes close-by. This is the quiet, and many would say the most picturesque side of the Lakes, with many beautiful fells, lakes and tarns to explore.

Recently refurbished to a high standard the cottage has a dining kitchen and two double bedrooms upstairs, one en-suite with a large shower. The other double is arranged as a twin. There is a separate bathroom downstairs and central heating throughout. The rear garden faces south and is a sun trap from mid -morning.

The quaint market town of Cockermouth is a 10 minute drive and Keswick about 20 minutes. There are excellent pubs close by, the nearest in the village of Dean roughly 10 minutes walk or two minutes drive. The acclaimed Kirkstyle Inn is 10 minutes drive. Buttermere, Pillar, Eskdale and Wasdale are very accessible for the more accomplished walkers or climbers. Dogs are welcome by arrangement, but sorry, no smokers. Situated just a short stroll away from the main street of the beautiful village of Willersey, this charming period cottage is within yards of open countryside, and ideally placed to visit the surrounding Cotswold villages of Broadway (just over a mile), Chipping Camden, Stow on the Wold. Also within easy reach is Stratford Upon Avon, which is approximately 10 miles away. The village itself has a village shop, a post office, a duck pond and two pubs that both serve wonderful food. There is a lot to see and do if you enjoy rambling, cycling or sight seeing.

The cottage is surrounded by woodland at the rear with stunning views to Rydal Water and Loughrigg Fell from the South facing garden (with decked seating) and first floor bedrooms. There are numerous walks to suit all abilities and ambitions some of which start directly outside the cottage. The cottage is situated in an elevated position on a quiet lane above Grasmere which is reassuring for families with young children. Adjacent to the garden is the off road private parking area with one dedicated parking space for each cottage. Tarn Cottages is no more than 10 minutes walk downhill to Dove Cottage and a little further to the centre of Grasmere. Rydal Mount is only one mile away along the bridal way that starts close by.

A number of original features have been preserved to maintain the charm of the cottage including slate flagged flooring, exposed beams and an open fire place. There two bedrooms (one double, one twin) both with views over woodland towards Rydal Water and Loughrigg Fell. There is an open fire and a colour television, video recorder and DVD player in the cosy sitting room. The fitted kitchen / diner is well equipped as well as cellar and outhouse. There are night storage heaters in all rooms. Additional electric heating appliances are available in case of need. Bed linen, tea towels and a bath mat are provided free of charge but not towels. These can, however, be hired if required. Coal and electricity are provided free of charge. There is a telephone for the convenience of visitors. Please note that we accept pets.

Brigham can be found just outside the Lake District National Park, 2 miles from the market town of Cockermouth, and just 4 miles from Bassenthwaite Lake. It is an ideal base from which to explore the quieter lakes and mountains of The National Park, and take in the attractions of the increasingly popular Solway Coast and West Cumbrian coastal towns and villages.

The Saddlery has been sympathetically converted to provide open plan living accommodation on the ground floor with a log burning stove forming the focal point of this room. The kitchen area is fitted out to a high standard and includes a dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. There is a washerdryer in a small utility room at the entrance to the cottage. The living area has a dining table and chairs for 4, and includes a TV, DVD player and CD player. The first floor has one double bedroom, a second bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The cottage has its own parking space and a patio area with tables and chairs in the courtyard in front of the property. Barbeques are available for use. The Saddlery has the use of a traditional games room that includes a full size snooker table, table football and family games. The village has a childrens' playing field with play park nearby.

Old Mill Farm holiday cottage comprises a self contained wing of a beautiful 17th Century farmhouse on the outskirts of the pretty Norfolk village of Garboldisham lying close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Situated in an idyllic position next to the village common and Garboldisham windmill and set in large grounds, much of which is meadowland dotted with wild flowers, this is truly a tranquil place to relax and unwind. In the vicinity there are plenty of walking and cycling routes and also close at hand are Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens, Banham Zoo and Snetterton Racing Circuit. The towns of Diss and Bury St. Edmunds are well worth a visit for curiosities such as Gaze's Auction Sale and England's smallest pub.

The cottage itself has a large sitting/dining room with comfy sofas, dining table and chairs, colour TV and video. There is a small but fully equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker, microwave etc., two bedrooms, one double and one twin (both of which overlook the windmill), bathroom with wc, wash basin and bath with shower attachment, plus a small utility area with automatic washing machine. Outside there is a private garden with furniture and BBQ together with parking. The cottage has oil fired central heating and double glazing and together with its beams, cottage doors, pine furniture and bygones, has a warm welcoming atmosphere. Pets are welcome.

Odd Cottage is perfectly placed within the pretty village of Oddington with its 11th Century Norman church. Over 300 years old, the cottage provides a warm, luxurious and tranquil base for exploring the Cotswolds. Stow on the Wold, with its interesting shops, antiques and galleries plus many fine inns and bistros is just a 3 minute drive away. Other places to visit include Blenheim Palace, Cotswolds Farm Park or the famous Shakespeare Houses in Stratford. If walking is your pastime there are plenty of different walks to choose from. You could explore parts of the 60 mile North Cotswolds Diamond Way or venture up the North Cotswolds Outliers Hills.

Odd Cottage has a stunning lounge/dining room with exposed beams and a brick fireplace with wood burning stove. There is a TV/DVD/Video and Sky TV for our guests to enjoy. The dining area has a pine dining table and chairs for 4. There are 2 bedrooms, each sleeping two people. There is a BBQ available and we welcome guests with a dog.

Situated in a secluded wooded setting in rural Suffolk just a few miles from the glorious Heritage coastline, these four beautifully-furnished cottages are designed for comfort and relaxation. Inside, each comes with stripped floors, original art and Persian rugs; outdoors, each cottage has a raised decking area for eating, drinking and barbecuing. The cottages are set in the peaceful grounds of the owners' 70 acre farm and are reached down a private tree-lined drive. Guests can enjoy a 36-foot indoor swimming pool which is heated all year round and open from 9am to 8pm; private swimming sessions are available by request.

The cottages sleep up to 4 adults (plus baby). Each features a spacious living room, country-style kitchen, and two bedrooms with either single or en suite bathrooms, with both baths and showers. Modern facilities include dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, DVD colour TV, stereo, cot and high chair. Pets are welcome by arrangement, but please note, there is no smoking in the cottages.

The grounds of the farm are fully accessible for rambling and nature watching, with wide wild natural field margins. In addition, the traditional market towns of Halesworth and Bungay are 5 miles away whilst Beccles, gateway to the southern Norfolk Broads and offering boat hire, lies 7 miles away. To the East, Southwold's elegant seaside delights are a step back to a more elegant time and reflect the unchanged nature of this friendly part of Suffolk.
