Ski Chalet French Alps 'Paradiski' - Les Arcs / La Plagne

Welcome to our range of ski chalets and apartments in the newly created 'Paradiski' region of the French Alps, combining Les Arcs and La Plagne, with over 420km of Piste linking 11 ski areas.

The new Paradiski ski area was created in December 2003 with the opening of the world's largest cablecar, The Vanoise Express, linking Les Arcs and La Plagne.

	Catered chalet or apartment	Catered chalets can generally be either rented on a room-by-room basis or for sole occupancy if a single group can fill the chalet themselves.

Le Zig Zag studio is located in the heart of the Paradiski area (420km of piste) offering more than enough variety for any level of skier or snowboarder. The Paradiski area comprises of the 2 huge ski areas of La Plagne and Les Arcs linked by the new Vanoise Express cable car. The apartment itself is in the mountain village of Les Coches which is perfectly placed in the centre giving quick and easy access to both areas.

The apartment consists of main living area (lounge and dining) with sliding door to convert into 2 separate bedrooms, small fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with wash hand basin and bath with shower, separate wc and balcony. The apartment is on the first floor with lift access. There are TV, video, DVD and hifi so don’t forget to bring your favourite music and films with you. There will also be a few books available so if you wish to borrow or swop please do. An information pack on the local area and piste maps will be available in the apartment.

The apartment is conveniently located close to slopes (50m from the piste), lift system and close to shops, small super market, tourist office, ski hire, ski lifts, parking, restaurants and bars.

Champagny en Vanoise is probably the prettiest traditional Alpine village situated at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park. The scenery around the area is stunning!! Within a short flat walk of 5 minutes to the new bubble lift takes you up to the new Paradiski skiing domain of Champagny, La Plagne and Les Arcs. Ten interlinked villages at different altitudes, with 110 lifts and 212 kms of varied runs. The skiing ranges from 1250-3250 metres of 'snow-sure' conditions with superb scenery and a good range of mountain restaurants. Should you want a break from skiing, Champagny oozes charm with great walks or visit Champagny le Haut for sledging - great for little and big kids!

Le Chardonnet is a well equipped apartment with one of the best views over the Champagny village / valley, with a large south facing sunny balcony so you can relax and enjoy the views. You can easily walk into the village centre for the supermarket, bakery, butchers etc, all of which are very good, and in the evening, enjoy the local bars and restaurants. By car or coach you can easily visit other villages such as Bozel, Brides les Bains and Pralognan.

Le Chardonnet is a two bedroom ski apartment that sleeps up to four adults and two younger children - with one double bedroom, one twin adult size bunk room and the lounge equipped with a comfortable sofa bed. There is a lift to the apartment, which is situated on the third/top floor in a quiet corner position.

Le Boulier is situated in the mountain village of Les Coches, with stunning views from the balconies of the Tarentaise Valley and Mont Blanc. Le Boulier is a small apartment building built in the traditional Savoyard style, conveniently located close to slopes, lift system and a short walk to shops, small super market, tourist office, ski hire, ski lifts, restaurants and bars. It is ski-in/ski-out on the piste to Montchavin, just below the Les Coches pistes and only 30m to the nearest lift.

These luxury apartments are privately owned, individually furnished and equipped to the highest standards. All the apartments have spacious open plan living areas, comprising lounge, dining area and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, oven/microwave, fridge and freezer. Each has either one or two balconies, as well as luxury ski locker with heated boot warmers!!

The 1 bedroom apartment is 35m2, and sleeps 2-4 including sofa bed in the lounge; the 2 bedroomed / 2 bathroom apartment is 52m2 and has 1 dbl and 1 twin to sleep 4-6 including sofa bed; both 3 bedroomed / 2 bathroom apartments are 85m2 - one sleeps 6 in 1 dbl and 2 twins, while the other sleeps 6/8 in 1 dbl ensuite, 1 twin, 1 bedroom with bunk beds plus sofa bed in the lounge.

Situated in Peisey, the Goat Shed offers the unspoilt charm of a traditional alpine village, while enjoying easy access to the extensive Les Arcs ski area.

The Goat Shed is a traditional Savoyard building which has been renovated to a high standard, to provide a comfortable and spacious base for your holiday. The chalet has five bedrooms, three of which have en-suite facilities and two bedrooms share a bathroom and toilet. The large open plan living area is on split levels and has a dining area and cosy lounge with a log burner. The chalet is equipped with TV, VCR, DVD and Playstation. On the ground floor there is a ski store / tech room and drying room.

Our catered package includes breakfast, afternoon tea and for six nights of the week Gordon prepares a delicious three course evening meal, served with generous amounts of wine. (Chalet day off mid week).

Nestling in Nancroix village at the heart of Paradiski, Chalet Myrtilles is a traditional 300 year old building, which has been carefully restored to provide an effective blend of original features and modern comforts.

The spacious sitting dining area has a log fire, floor to ceiling windows and a south-facing balcony with views of the surrounding mountains. There are five comfortable en-suite bedrooms with ample space for ten adults and, for family groups of more than 10, the largest room can easily be converted into a bunkroom or additional beds or cots can be fitted into the other bedrooms.

We provide tea with fresh home made cakes and afterwards you can relax in the sauna before enjoying a four course meal and a few glasses of wine. Our menus are carefully selected and prepared from fresh local produce and are one of the reasons why people return year after year.

We provide airport transfers and can help you organise lift passes, equipment hire and child care before you arrive. During your stay our staff will be on hand to help you make the most of Paradiski, the vast ski area that has been created by linking the two diverse areas of Les Arcs and La Plagne. They will be happy to show you the best spots on the mountain to ski, board, or simply sit in the sun for lunch or a vin chaud.

Chalet Biniou is located by a green run that goes through Belle Plagne village at 2050m. Access to the piste is a leisurely 40 paces from the front door. Part of a terrace of quality chalets, Chalet Biniou is arranged over 3 levels, with an open plan living / dining room, kitchen, 4 bath / shower rooms and 5 bedrooms - one double ensuite, three twins (2 ensuite) and one bunk-bedded room; two further mattresses are available to make triple rooms if required.

Finished using the traditional Savoyard style of construction of stone and timber, the accommodation has character, whilst also providing rooms with excellent facilities. The style of construction continues through the interior - traditional plaster and wood panelling on the walls, tiled floors in the public areas, and bedrooms and bathrooms fitted with pine furniture.

Included with the 7 nights accommodation is 7 days breakfast; 6 days afternoon tea and dinner with wine (staff have 1 day off); all linen, bath and hand towels and servicing of the rooms. Les Coches and Montchavin are two mountain villages, 1 km apart, with their own ski area at the heart of the massive Paradiski area of La Plagne/Les Arcs. Perfectly located, Chalet Mathilde is just 20 metres from the piste, only 100 metres from the nearest lift and normally you can ski back to the chalet! Les Coches is a traditional village full of character, with a few local restaurants and bars.

The chalet sleeps 12-14 people with 6 bedrooms; 2 twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, 3 twin bedrooms with ensuite showers and 1 family room sleeping up to 4 with ensuite shower. All the bedrooms have their own WC and wash-hand basins and some have their own balconies. There is a large warm lounge with huge open fireplace, TV, video, DVD and hifi. There will be a selection of videos and CD’s in the chalet for you to enjoy. We supply all bed linen and towels. Wonderful home cooked meals, for which we receive many compliments, are provided on a half-board basis; breakfast, afternoon tea and three-course evening meal including plenty of wine (Vin de Pays). The village of Montchavin is a charming resort with a variety of shops, bars, restaurants and a night club in a traffic free centre. It is a village with the convenience of being a tourist facility entirely dedicated to winter sports - and now also at the centre of one of the world’s largest ski areas, which was created in 2003 by joining the resorts of La Plagne, Peisey-Vallandry and Les Arcs, with the new superfast Vanoise Express, the world’s largest cable car.

Les Colchiques is a superbly designed chalet situated a mere 20m from the slopes, with breathtaking views overlooking the spectacular Mont Blanc Massif - every room has a wonderful view!! The large spacious lounge has a stone feature fireplace with large picture doors which open on to the balcony, where you can sit and watch the sun set over Mont Blanc, while the dining room opens onto a large south facing terrace. The chalet sleeps 12 people (plus 2 extra children if required) in 5 bedrooms all with private bathrooms - 3 double/twin rooms all looking towards Mont Blanc, two of which have panoramic floor to ceiling windows, and two larger triple rooms, one with a private terrace area and the other a south facing balcony.

We believe quality and quantity are essential aspects of the food you want at the start and end of a hard day on the slopes. A plentiful and healthy breakfast is provided each morning, with cereals, fresh croissants and pastries, yoghurts, fruit juice, and a hot choice each day with freshly brewed coffee or tea. When you return from the slopes there will be fresh home made cake, or muffins and biscuits, with more fresh bread and jam with coffee and tea. The evening meals are delicious and satisfyingly filling, with a variation between the more traditional French meals, tasty Mediterranean dishes and British home cooking, together with some traditional Savoyarde dishes of the region. They are all accompanied by your choice of quality red or white wine, in as much quantity as you care to drink.

The Chalet “La Grange“ is located in a beautiful alpine savoyard ski village called ' Notre Dame Du Pre (NDDP)'. NDDP is a small ski resort village with 4 lifts and a few slopes, a good skiing spot for beginners and family , sledging & cross-country skiing are also very popular there! The Chalet is located only 50 metres away from the main lift , right at the bottom of the piste. And for those who love long ski slopes, bigger resorts and ski areas, it’s only 10 minutes away by car : one of the largest ski area in the world : La Plagne Montalbert ( linked with les Arcs : Paradiski). You can also ski back from La Plagne to the chalet by one of the best offpiste routes around!

Chalet “La Grange” offers 300 m² of truly luxurious accommodation while keeping the charm of an authentic and rustic savoyard chalet. The main floor features a warm and cosy dining area for 16, with sofa, quality hi-fi system, a huge open fireplace, and a balcony facing south to the slopes. It also provides a magnificent games room with pool table, and satellite television. All the 4 bedrooms are fitted with bathroom and toilet en-suite and come with television + video. It is in a great location in the picturesque mountain village of Montchavin, an authentic Savoyarde village and a vibrant ski station, at the heart of the Paradiski area. The views of the Tarentaise valley are fantastic with Mont Blanc taking the centre stage. The chalet is just 100 metres from the cable car and piste, and only 250 meters from the nearest chair lift, with easy access to ski hire, ski school meeting points, bars, restaurants, the crèche and the night-club. Only 20 minutes from the link to Les Arcs.

The chalet accommodation sleeps 12-17 people with 6 ensuite bedrooms consisting of, on the Ground Floor, Ski and boot room, on the First Floor, cosy lounge, large dining area and two ensuite bedrooms (1dbl, 1 twin), then four further ensuite bedrooms on the Second Floor (1 quadruple and 3 triples. At Chalet Evelyne, you will be just 100 metres from the piste, only 250 metres from the nearest lift and normally you will be able to ski back to the front door.

The chalet sleeps 14-18 people with 7 bedrooms: 2 double bedrooms and 5 twin bedrooms all with a wash hand basin, wc and shower except 2 of which have baths. Four bedrooms have mezzanines sleeping up to 5 extra people and 4 rooms have balconies. There are two comfortable lounges, one on the first floor with a TV, Video and DVD and is extremely light and airy with a terrace and mezzanine area. The other lounge is on the ground floor with a hifi and a natural stone built open log fireplace which adjoins the dining area. Chalet Chardon is located right by the blue Inversins piste that joins Belle Plagne and Plagne Bellecote. Access to the piste is directly from the ski/snowboard storage room, and skiing/snowboarding back to the chalet is possible throughout the season due to the high elevation of 2050m. Chalet Chardon is a chalet-apartment on 1 level, created using the traditional Savoyard style of construction with stone and timber. This creates accommodation with character, whilst also providing rooms with excellent facilities.

The chalet has an open plan lounge / dining / kitchen area, with 4 large sofas, log fire, Cable TV, video, DVD, Hi-Fi, boardgames, and access to the balcony with excellent views over the piste, and the sunset over the Tarentaise valley in the evenings. There are seven bedrooms - all twins, with ensuite bathrooms with Jacuzzi baths; all except one has access to balconies, and additional single mattresses can be added to 3 of the bedrooms to accommodate up to 17 people in total, plus infants in cots. For larger groups, an additional chalet apartment - with the same high level of specification and 1 or 3 twin rooms, can be made available to cater for around 23 guests. Everyone can come together for meals in Chalet Chardon.

Chalet Chardon can be booked on a bedroom by bedroom basis, or by groups.
