We’re delighted to announce our first glamping listing, with this stunning vintage Airstream caravan to rent from Airstream Breaks

Glamping Holidays Cornwall Airstream

Located in a quiet, peaceful hidden valley near to Newquay on the Cornwall Coast, this shiny beauty dates back to the 50s, but has been lovingly brought up to date with all the creature comforts for the perfect Cornwall glamping holiday! Cosy nights are assured by the under floor heating, and an on-board flushing toilet means there’s no need to go out into the cold for those middle of the night “emergencies”.

With a fixed double bed at the rear, and a King Sized bed at the front formed by dropping down the dining table, the Airstream sleeps up to 4 people, with a good sized kitchen area and outside deck for enjoying the wonderful views.

Watergate Bay Cornwall

Stunning Watergate Bay (with Jamie Oliver’s ’15′ restaurant) is a mere 20-25 minute walk away, whilst the foodie haven of Padstow is within a 15 minute drive.

Prices start at just £410 for a 3-night weekend / 4-night midweek break, with weekly prices from £590. For more details, visit Glamping Holidays Cornwall

Handy hint if you happen to forget your corkscrew – as long as you’re wearing a good stout pair of English brogues!

Thank you to old friend Stephen Cronk, now producing some stunning Provencal wines at Mirabeau Wine

BigEat Cotswolds Food Festival runs between 26th October and 2nd November 2013

Foodie families looking for something to do at #HalfTerm might want to take a trip down to The Cotswolds – for the 2013 Big Eat Cotswolds Food Festival, which runs from Friday 26th October through to Saturday 2nd November 2013.

The event kicks off with The Friday Food Fayre at Lechlade Garden Centre (GL7 3DP) between 10am and 2pm, where you can sample a real taste of the Cotswolds, with good quality food and drink, which is predominantly local, home-grown, home-made, organically and/or ethically produced.

This is followed during the course of the week with dinners by celebrated chefs, cookery demonstrations and the Big Eat Beer Night from Compass Brewery in Carterton, where Compass beers will be perfectly paired with a specially created menu from chef Gareth Fulford at Purslane Restaurant in Cheltenham.
