Loch View is the name that has been given to the part of Castle Sween Holiday Park that has been reserved for the holiday homes that are available to let. As the name suggests, you get a fantastic view of Loch Sween and can see right over the Isle of Danna to Loch Keils and the Sound of Jura with the ruins of Castle Sween in the foreground. At the same time Loch View is convenient to the shop and Rafters restaurant and bar, as well as the Reception and Office, that are centrally situated, and like the rest of the holiday park nowhere is very far from the sea. Wildlife is also an attraction of staying at Castle Sween - you are bound to see deer and seals during your stay, and if you watch carefully you might also spot the otters who live in the rocks around Castle Sween!
We have two or three bedroom holiday homes available to rent. All are under 2 years old, top of the range models finished to the highest specification. They provide an extraordinary degree of comfort, and for those who have never stayed in a holiday home before, a week at Castle Sween is just the place to try it out.

As well as the fantastic views to enjoy, there is a wealth of other activities in the local area. The Crinan Canal is nearby - with a towpath running right from Crinan to Ardrishaig it is perfect for cycling along. The Lochgilphead Golf Club just half an hours' drive away is responsible for a very interesting nine hole course on the rolling hills just behind the town, and other golf courses within an easy drive include Tarbert, Oban, Inveraray and Machrihanish. Tarbert is a pretty fishing village, and from here you can get ferries to Portavadie and some of the islands. Campbeltown is a slightly longer drive, but worth it to visit the beach at Machrihanish. Oban is just over an hour away, and offers lots of shops, the sealife centre, distilleries, and the opportunity to take a ferry to the islands. Inverary you will likely have passed through before you arrived - there is a Castle, the Old Jail, Auchendrain Museum, and an outdoor centre (offering horse riding and paintball etc) here.
