Beaches:Wonderful sandy beaches within 5-20 mins drive include Long Rock[paddle boarding], Marazion[windsurfing[,Perrnuthnoe and Praa Sands [surfing], and within 30 -40 mins Godrevey and Porthcurno.

Crowlas [5 mins]: Local shop /post office and very good Chinese takeaway.

Long Rock [5mins]:Fresh Cornish crab from Cornish Crab Co and fishmonger with fresh fish landed at Newlyn daily. Freshly baked Cornish pasties from Lavenders local shop/post office and Mexico Inn with good food.

Marazion [10mins]: Access to St Michael's Mount by causeway/small ferry boats,local shops,freshly baked pasties from Phelps. Godolphin Arms restaurant serving good food at the water's edge directly opposite ST Michael's Mount.

St Michael's Mount [Nat Trust]: Magnificent Castle tours and fabulous views.
Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens [5mins]:Fabulous subtropical gardens, and restaurant with very good food
