This cosy Cotswold stone cottage, dating back to the mid 19th century, is an ideal 'bolt hole' for those wishing to unwind, whatever the season. Chadlington is set in the peaceful Evenlode valley close to the Wychwood Forest, and offers superb country walks. The village of Chadlington is well situated for exploring the many delightful Cotswold towns and villages close by. It is approximately 3 miles from Chipping Norton and less than 20miles from Oxford, which can be reached by train from Charlbury station, itself only 3 miles away. Chadlington has a Village Pub, General Store and Butchers Shop and a Children's Playground, all within easy walking distance of the cottage.
Chipping Norton has a Sports Centre, Theatre, Library and good shopping facilities and amenities.
The cottage has a cosy living room with sofa, colour TV & dvd and radio. Heating is by night storage heater and coal effect electric fire. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Steep stairs lead to a double bedroom and a bathroom with bath and toilet. The property also benefits from a garden room and secluded patio garden with furniture. A welcome tray with wine and homemade biscuits and marmalade is provided. All linen and electricity are included and free WiFi is also available. One well-behaved pet is welcome - free of charge. Please ensure that pets are supervised at the cottage at all times and are not left unattended. Guests are requested not to smoke in the cottage.

The beautiful surrounding countryside can be enjoyed from the numerous footpaths and idleways around the village. Picturesque Cotswold towns including Burford, Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water are a short drive away, as is the pretty riverside village of Lechlade on Thames.
Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill is at nearby historic Woodstock. Also within easy reach are Oxford, Cheltenham, Stratford upon Avon and Warwick, with its stunning medieval castle.
